不晓得为什么,今天特别想在这里呐喊...

今天当你绷着个脸时,你说你很累,我知道你不是,因为就算你再累,脸上已很明显看到你疲倦的样子,你也很少在我面前喊累.我想你一定是为了我说的话而心情不好.不过我表面选择相信你,不是因为我信以为真,而是我认为你不想说是一定有自己的苦衷,我也不想逼问你.但后来当你说我不了解你时,我就试着逼问你为何心情不好,你就跟我所预料的一样,你一直否认你心情不好.当下我决得好难过,虽然我早早就跟自己说我不想逼问你,但当你在我面前否认的时候,我的心情变得好承重.

我在想你是不是对我所说的话感到失望？

又或许你是不是为了我所说的话感到难过？

无论如何，我只知道看到你难过却一句都不跟我说，我心里只有自己难受.

不过或许你不想说，也有你的原因跟想法吧.

就象最近为了一些自己的事而被搞到又累又不愉快.我想跟你诉苦,但有时看到你时,心情不知不觉就会好许多，根本不想再把不愉快的事提出来。有时我害怕你会为了我的事感到无能为力而难过,我自己也感到内疚.所以有时为了不想让你这样,我选择不说出来. 不过于这件事来讲，其实说不说出来并不重要,因为只要你在我身边,我的心情就会变得好起来,让我不再忧郁,就像事情已解决了一样.也给了我能量与勇气继续面对.不是觉得你无能，我只是不想为了我的一些你暂时能力有限的事而增加你的负担.因为我是这么觉得.闷在心里的确不好受，不过我宁愿我自己难受也不要你不好过.

我只想对你说:

It's been a great time spent at YOG~!

Thanx to my sis who pulled me along during Diving Invitational,so i gt a chance to participate in YOG's Diving event! e period started from 16th and ended on 24th aug...during this period,almost everyday i got lotsa fun~! prob except when we gt scolded for some reasons,or we were damn angry at some irritating hypocrites..but it didnt dampen e whole spirit~! and because of e scope of my duty, i gt to intereact with e atheletes and coaches,watch e atheletes dive "live" and take photos with them..hehe..seriously,most of them dun look like 16 or 17 years old..they look quite mature actually..haha..but they were so handsome and pretty~! and some were really quite friendly and fun to talk to..

Not only e atheletes and coaches,e other volunteers were rather fun-loving too! prob coz they were either younger than me or about e same age as me,so we could all go crazy together..haha..

On e last day of event after everything ended,we were allowed to try e facilities at e complex..coz me and another volunteer chong hwee din really know how to swim and float,we tried practising at e swimming pool..why we thot we nd to practise was coz e pool at e diving area was 4.5m! thot it would be quite scary if we dun practise awhile 1st..haha..

After hesitating for awhile and much persuasion from others,we still decided to try diving for e 1st time!! we thot it might be our 1st and e last time to try it out..but before tt,we asked some of our frenz to standby in case we needed them as lifeguards..lolx..we 1st tried e 3m springboard..it looked rather easy to jump,but when i stepped onto e springboard and edged towards e tip of e springboard, it was really OMG~!! it looked soooo high when i looked down to e pool~! it's so freaking scary to tk e 1st step out and leap off tt springboard can! finally when i mustered enough courage to jump down and floated up e pool,it's a totally diff feeling..what an awesome experience~! really couldnt use words to describe it..

Next we went up to e 5m platform..when we went up,we totally said no already..it's so damn high la~! but we still stayed up there to give moral support to 2 of them who were intending to jump down..they also hesitated for quite awhile,in e end only 1 of them jumped down,e other last min withdrew..lolx..jux for ur info,5m is nt e highest,there's still 10m~! we went up and needless to say,we din even thot of attempting,and we din even wanna stay up there for a minute..

On e way down we decided to give 3m another go..thot since we already had our 1st try,e 2nd try would be easier..we were SO WRONG..when we edged to e tip of e springboard again,e fear was back again~! this time,when i leaped off e board, i subconsciously screamed..LOL..but again,it was another amazing experience after tt..=)

After e pool was closed,we stayed around for pizza and chit chat..and we got our YOG cert! we continued to play around and took silly photos before we left e complex with a tired body and a heavy heart..

This marks e end of e one and probably e only SYOG..it has been a wonderful experience and im so happy to be part of e history~! :)))

Happy Birthday to me!

I am 22 now! undeniably..haha..

I guess coz im already above 21,so i dun really feel e particular excitement when my birthday is here nor any anticipation when e day is nearing..haha..but e funny thing is im still usually quite excited when my close frenz' birthdays are approaching but not my own..din really hav any big celebrations with frenz like wat i did with them in e past..now im contented with just a simple dinner and chill out time with them..

And i fell sick 3 days before my actual day..so suay can~! from sore throat to fever to cough..it's been long since i fell sick so seriously,and for so long..my sore throat till now still haven fully recover..haiz..

E 1st person to celebrate for me was my buddy xuemei~! on e 5th after my temp job ended for e day, met up with her and we went to great world..accompanied her to buy e chocolates for her anniversary gift 1st before we settled down at ichiban boshi for dinner..e dinner was her treat..=) felt so shiok to sit down coz my legs were sore from all e runnings and walking arounds with my heels during work,and i din even hav much chance to sit down for 11 hrs..though e heels wasnt very high, it is quite a new pair..we ate and chatted until 9 plus before we made our way back home..also couldnt stay too late coz we both got to wake up early for work e next day,esp me..got to wake up at 5 plus..=S

E next person to celebrate with me was pat,who celebrated with me on e next day..she also went for e same temp job..tt day was e last day,so after everything including packing up and stuff,e person-in-charge gave us tickets to Marina Bay Sands Sky Garden for FREE~!! hehe..initially they gave us sat's tics,but we said we dun mind gg tt day,so they gave us e tics for tt day instead..it's kind of a long journey to MBS sky garden..coz i realised there's no longer a direct bus to suntec,and e bus tt we could took kept running off without us notice..finally we managed to take a bus to e bus stop outside suntec..and we gt to walk all e way down to buy Subway for our dinner..den ran to e bus stop at e convention centre to tk bus to MBS..by e time we reached there it's already 940 and e sky garden closed at 10..and we gt to hide our food in our bags coz we dunno if they would allow or they might confiscate it if not allowed..haha..luckily,though e sky garden entrance closed at 10,they allowed those already at e sky garden to walk until 1030..so we din "lu-gi" after all..wahaha..and seriously,e night view was really quite magnificient~! and i finally saw e scary swimming pool which seem to have no barriers at e end of e building..e only bad pt was it's not very windy as expected..i also dunno why..anw,after we came down,i suggested eating our dinner-cum-supper at e sitting area beside Robinsons at City hall coz it's nearer to mrt and we dun hav to fear we cant tk e last train home..really got to thank her coz despite her legs already very pain and tired (and me too!) from all e walking and standing during work,she still willing to accompany me to spend my birthday on my actual day itself..=)

On e 8th,me and my family went to East Coast to hav seafood dinner~! Whee! Love seafood to e max~! Probably coz next day is a public holiday so tt day was exceptionally crowded..parking was almost full...we couldnt really decide which restaurant to go so we jux settled down on any one of e restaurants,which was not as well known as those like Jumbo or Long Beach..but surprisingly,their seafood was not bad,especially e crab! but their other side dishes like Pai Gu werent tt nice..but overall,it's still a great and sumptuous dinner,and a good time spent with my family..

On e 10th celebrated with my nus buddies ah man rainbow jaz and pat..we went for e crystal jade xiao long bao buffet at holland v..coz my sore throat still haven recover,so i couldn really eat e spicy part..but of coz i couldnt resist not eating at all..haha..this time we ordered alot of xiao long baos..erm,if i din rmb wrongly we ordered a total of 10 plus sets of xiao long baos~! wahaha..with me and pat eating e most of them..lolx..coz we so love xiao long baos~!! in e end we were super full..after e buffet ended at 8,pat went home 1st,while e rest of us decided to go watch "Salt" movie at JP..movie started at 940,and rainbow gt to meet her client for awhile..whhile waiting,me ah man and jaz went to shop ard..when we passed by Bakerzin,jaz told us she saw a discount off e desserts and beverages..at 1st me and ah man couldnt believe,so out of curiosity we walked back to check it out,and turned out to be true!

Dun be amazed by girls' appetite for desserts...we were so tempted by e cakes,so we decided to settle for desserts!! somehow we dun feel full anymore after looking at e cakes..LOL..we sat and chatted while waiting for rainbow to meet us before we went for e movie together,and homed at 11 plus..

Really thanks to all my family and buddies who spent my birthday with me~!! *Hugs* XD

My commencement ceremony

Woah..i jux realised i had been leaving this space to rot for a month already~!! actually when i always wanted to find some time to update, i either dun hav e energy or i jux procrastinate..haha..alright tt's me..and probably coz im getting more and more lazy due to rotting too much at home..ok, tt sounds pretty bad..JOB PLS COME TO ME SOON~!!

So these were wat/where i had done/went for e past month:

-My commencement ceremony~!
-Celebrated mum and dad's 25th wedding anniversary! i tink it's called silver wedding or something? went Tung Lok for dinner..instead of "er ren shi jie", my mum wanted to celebrate as a family and so we 3 siblings went to be gooseberries..wahaha..
-Watched Despicable Me 3D and non-stop eating with ah man and rainbow..haha..I love Agnes!! She's soooooo cute!
- Went for some 2/3 days temp jobs to earn some pocket money while still hunting for a perm job..seriously, perm job is so hard to find now..esp within my related field...sianz!
-Watched Inception with my sis~! a damn nice show!
-and some meet ups here and there..

Though it's quite long ago already,i still wanna talk about my commencement on e 11th july~! tink tt will be my 1st and probably e only time wearing a "si fang mao"~! when e day was nearing, was starting to get more and more nervous..on e day itself, needless to say, i was nervous to e max! got to admit tt i do have stage fright..haha..observed wat e others did on e stage,looked easy,but when it's my turn,a few seconds walk to e presenter seemed like minutes!! omg..seriously,my heart was at my mouth already, and my mind was a total blank throughout, to e extent tt when i gt down e stage,i realised i din really rmb wat i did on stage..haha..not exaggerating really..and i din even notice how they pronounced my name..my name sometimes got pronounced in quite a not so nice way,esp if e person is not a chinese..and i heard some of e names were pronounced weirdly, so i started to get worried abt this..haha..luckily when i asked my sis,she said it sounded ok..lolx..

After e ceremony, started to go ard taking photos..took photos with my family 1st before gg ard to take photos with others..other than taking photos with my usual clique, also went ard taking photos with my other uni mates who graduated too..but i only managed to take a few,coz my camera died on me halfway! in e end gt to use others' cameras to take..=( by e time me,rainbow and ah man were gg to leave, UCC was already quite empty le,left only a few pple here and there..after i left with my family, we went to have dinner at the prata shop near NUS..haha..we din really hav e time to have a celebration dinner coz my dad was in a rush to go out..but it doesnt matter to me,coz im already damn hungry and im satisfied with any food..lolx..

It is always hard to say goodbye..especially when you don't even want it to happen..but somehow i regretted not saying it,coz that was my last chance to do so..

s20 gathering and bonitochico sales~!

Finally my weekends got something to blog abt...haha!

On saturday noon went to weixiang's house for mahjong..met up earlier with xuemei 1st for lunch before going up to his house..waited for sinda for almost half an hour before we could finally start playing..-.-.. by e time we finished playing 1 full round,it was already 630! supposed to meet s20 for gathering at 630 but i was already late..in e end i reached holland v at 730,and coz it's raining and im lazy to take out my umbrella since it's jux a short distance from e bus stop to e cold storage building,gt to drench myself in e rain..of coz i would only do tt since it's jux a drizzle..

Surprisingly,i wasnt e last person to arrive..haha..and not too bad,there's at least half of our class pple who went..e moment i arrived e poking fun btw me and johnston started again..but well, im really used to it already..haha..anw,we had our dinner at 211 roof terrace cafe..e place was not bad,but e food wasnt really good..i ordered fish and chips,looked not bad but tasted so-so only,not very nice..and for susian's seafood platter(i dun really rmb e name),he said it's tasteless and he actually poured(not sprinkle) cheese powder on it..looked even less appealing but at least it tasted better..others ordered salads,pastas and pizzas,din really ask if it's nice but i tink e standard shld be e same..we laughed and chitchat after dinner,and finally it's cake presenting time for july babies min and ah fen~! ordered a tiramisu and brownie ice cream,and surprisingly their cakes tasted not bad! after phototaking and hanging ard,most of us headed for home for world cup germany vs argentina!

Thot argentina might win,but dunno why they wasnt playing at their usual standard at tt match,and plus germany played well with their fast counter-attacking skills..so sorry argentina,next time ba!

On sunday went to e bonitochico warehouse sales at helipad with xuemei..e sales started at 2 so we met up for lunch at abt 130..by e time we were ready to go up it's abt 230..when we stepped out of e lift,wat we saw was really OMG~!! e queue was soooooo damn long~! looked so crazy~! nv expect e queue to be so long sia..it's like fans queueing up for some idol's signature like tt..can u imagine! we were hesitating whether to join e craziness,but thot since we were already here,might as well jux try,so in e end we went to queue up! along e queue saw some familiar faces here and there..and they were even earlier than us..looked like most of them chiong down specially jux for e bc sales..haha..

We queued for 4 freaking hours before it's gg to be our turn to go in! by e time our legs were aching already..actually i tink e reason why e queue moved so slowly was coz most of them stayed in e club for so long! we saw some of e pple,from e time they went in to e time they came out from e club,they took more than 2 hours! we den decided we shld die die stay inside until it's closed to make our waiting time worthwhile..haha..

When we stepped into e club,wah,it's so dark can..e lights were so dim and little..and it's so crowded! some gals behind me asked 1 of e crews if can switch on all e lights,tink e crew felt abit paiseh when replying "e lights were already on"..lolx..when we started browsing,we started to understand why e others nd so long to shop inside..haha..one thing was e lights were too dim,gt to use longer time to look at each piece of apparel..second was tt it was too crowded and squeezy! got to use alot of energy to squeeze from one section to another..third was coz most of e pple would jux grab watever they thot was quite nice and eventually gt to stand aside and filter out those tt they decided nt to buy..lastly was tt coz they did nt put their unwanted pieces back to their respective sections and jux throw at any section(i tink nobody would ever do tt at tt crowded situation),whenever we walked back to any section N no of times,there would always be "new discovery"..haha..but seriously,some were so inconsiderate..when they browsing thru some of e clothes dropped on e floor..they din pick it up and caused some to be stepped on by everybody! this also happened when pple were busy digging thru e piles of clothes..haiz..women were jux too concentrated on grabbing their loots..

Ard 8-ish one of e owners of bc announced tt she received a feedback from some gals tt they queued super long jux for e sales,and so in order to thank us,she said all apparels which gt diff range of prices including bags were reduced to $15,and those tt originally cost $10 were all reduced to $5!! Woo hoo~! my filtering became less "strict" after tt..haha..

By e time we left it's abt 9 plus already..this means we stayed for abt 2 hours plus also! in total i bought 4 tops and 1 bag for jux $65~! so happy~!! at least it made e 4 hrs of waiting time worth it~! =)

Sometimes i feel that the system/service(or watsoever) in NUS is really sux to e core!!
On monday i went down to collect my academic dress..it was initially e official day where students from faculty of science were arranged to collect between 5-8pm..diff fac would hav diff days and timings to collect their dress..in a way it's good so as to prevent everyone from chiong-ing to get their desired dress size since it's first come 1st serve basis..me and pat decided to go exactly at 5 so as to be able to get our size..but when jaz told me on mon morning tt some of her frenz already able to collect their dresses on sat,we felt so kena cheated and felt so stupid to follow wat NUS instructed..wat's worst was tt e dresses in all sizes were all placed since sat..this means for pple like us who went on mon,our chances of getting s or xs size was almost zero coz they were e most popular sizes..it's really WTH can!! wat kind of 1st come 1st serve basis is this!?!? at least they shld like leave an equal no of s and xs sizes on each day,sounds more fair lorz..

In e end we decided to meet asap hoping to get our desired size..in e end when me and pat got there e s and xs were all gone..and m size also left a few pieces only..imagine we initially wanted xs,now we nd to wear m size..i was like wearing some kind of wizard clothing la..den e cap also same case,all left those m size when we originally wanted s..and e cap was even more impt coz if it's too big,i tink it will e laughing stock of e century if u bow and e cap drop when on e stage..but luckily after trying out almost all e caps,i finally managed to find 1 which is more fitting..really really felt so cheated and angry..actually i already gt e academic dress and cap which belong to my sis..but hers is both m size which was too big for me so i chose to rent instead..in e end i still rent m size for both! it's really a waste of my money!!!!

We went on to collect our hood and invitation card and listened to e booths set up by photography shops promoting their studio package..at 1st we were attracted to e 1st photography shop W coz of its striking banner..wat's gd was tt they allowed us to pay a small deposit if we were interested and was refundable if we decided not to take up their package after more consideration..we din realised there's a 2nd booth until we walked further down..we thot e 2nd 1 H was not bad too..in e end me and pat were in a dilemma on whether to change to H since e deposit paid at W was refundable..still din manage to come to a decision even after rainbow and ah man knocked off from work and came to meet us at 7 plus after collecting their dresses..so we jux went to holland v to have our dinner..

Initially planned to try our luck at crystal jade for buffet,but of coz we expected it we would end up disappointed..den we wanted to go to "everything with fries",but it was closed! in e end we went to Swensens..

While chatting,we realised rainbow managed to get s size for her academic dress when she came much later than us! i rmb we did ask e person in charge there whether there's any more s or xs sized dress and e person said everything was already there..dunno y tt person managed to get an s size from nowhere! it's really damn sucky can...and felt so cheated AGAIN~!! #$^&^%#$%*

Somehow i tink nus shld do something abt it..haiz..anw,luckily we were at swensens, coz eating desserts jux extinguished any anger in me!! hehehe..:)))

Canon S90 + gathering + world cup = loves!

Yeah~! I finally got a new camera-canon S90! been wanting to buy a new 1 ever since like months ago..my old camera is kinda spoilt..it's not totally unusable anymore,but when i took photos esp during outdoors,there will be ugly and obvious black patches in e photos..it looks as if e sky is turning dark and it's gg to rain..haha..if u go and see my taiwan photos,it's actually quite observable esp in those scenic photos..so now can finally say goodbye to my canon ixus and hello S90~! unless if me and sis got to use camera on e same day..haha..

After talking for months abt changing camera,we finally took action coz of e PC show..we went on friday to have a look at e cameras and e prices..decided to stick to canon coz we thot canon was still e best camera brand among others..we were deciding between S90 and G11 coz both got equally good reviews and they were more reccommended if looking for compacts..tried both at e booth and we cant really decide on e spot which 1 to get..so after much discussion,we decided on S90! actually G11 is slightly better than S90,but G11 is considerably more bulky and heavier,and e weight really puts me off coz i dun like to carry a heavy camera ard..

So we went to e PC show again today to get our S90!! we quickly bought it and escaped from e super packed place..and seriously,i tink it's really worth it to buy it at e PC show! and i thot this PC show is nt as packed as previous times,so i gt a better time walking in e convention hall.. haha..

Yday evening went to my aunt's house to celebrate "dumpling" festival..not exactly a big special occasion,but my 4th uncle always like to organise such gatherings during any special occasions..in a way it's good coz i love gatherings! he ordered catering food for our dinner..tink most of us were too full to stuff dumplings after dinner,even though it's supposedly celebrating this festival and eating dumpling is a must..haha..had fun playing cards with cousins,though we always play e usual few games,we always had a good laugh coz we kept playing mind games with each other..while we were playing,e others were either playing mahjong or busy watching e taiwan show "爱"..lolx..

Went home at ard 10 plus to prepare for e World Cup frenzy~! stayed up to watch e England vs USA match at 230am..but e results turned out to be such a disappointment! e goalkeeper should really packed his bag and go home man..haiz..

Anw,sooo excited tt e World Cup is finally here~! woo hoo~! finally gt something to anticipate everyday..haha..but this also means my dark circles and eye bags are gg to worsen again during this period of time..tsk tsk..but i dun mind sacrificing for it! hehehe..

Ok..maybe i shld go nap a little while before e Germany vs Australia match starts a few hours later..muz build up some energy to root for my 2nd fav germany! =)

I finally graduate~!

My results were out 2 days ago! finally waited until e last day of may..super nervous when gg to see my results,but at e same time i was so damn scared..coz this sem's modules were all nt easy and i tink i wun do well..kept praying hard before i opened e window for e results..

1 thing tt i felt relieved abt was i din fail any mods! and e results were better than wat i expected..but my caps still dropped!!! sianz..but seriously,at this point of time,i jux hope i can graduate smoothly and luckily i did! so im still quite contented after all..haha..

After checking my results i could peacefully accompany my mum to e food fair at expo..wanna go see if there's any new and interesting stuff and see if there's any cheap deals..actually i quite like to go to such food fair,jux as i like to shop in supermarkets..i also dunno why..maybe i really love food tt much..lolx..thot it wouldnt be very crowded coz it's a monday..but we were so wrong! it's still as packed as sardines can..prob coz it's sch hols already so all e mums can bring their kids along..getting e attention of e salespersons over there became extra difficult for us coz there were so many kiasu-sohs ard and we were e ones always kena squeezed out of e crowd..!!!!

Anw,there were really alot of things to buy! but coz we gt only 2 pairs of hands and we gt to tk public transport,we gt to be selective when buying..wanted to go for e coach and kate spades fair,but gt to give up coz we carried too much things le..and it would only start at 4pm,so we din wan to wait for it to open..on our way to e mrt station,we realised e human traffic was getting more and more heavy..i guessed most were gg to chiong for e coach and katespades sales..haha..

Jux read ah fen's blog and i realised i have been leaving this space to rot ever since i went taiwan! feeling guilty,here i come to update! haha..

Ok..maybe let's start with e least recent 1...my 7 days taiwan graduation trip! it's like 2 weeks ago but i still wanna talk abt it~! had great fun with my uni buddies rainbow,ah man and jaz~! and i seriously love taiwan..especially e cooling weather! but of coz,bcoz it's only near e end of spring and it's still nt quite summer yet,e weather was esp shiok! we followed tour,coz ah man said she went taipei before so she wanted to go other places in taiwan,and i also wanna see e whole of taiwan..so our package was actually a round-taiwan tour..haha..e only bad thing was all e long long travelling time from one place to another,some as long as 3 hour plus..and e bumpy and rocky mountain roads tt we gt to travel on..im jux relieved tt i din vomit..haha..anw,most of e pple in our tour group were young adults like us(they were on a graduation trip too!),and there's another 2 older couples who were really very friendly and humourous..and e tour guide was jux 1 yr older than me and he's humourous and lively..wat's funny was tt e way he talked and laughed and his little actions were very similar to my fren dennes! talking to him was like talking to my fren but his face was changed..haha..always gt this familiar feeling whenever he talked on e coach or when i talked to him..anw it's really a bonus to be in such a good tour group with a great tour guide! initially we still wondered if our tour groupmates are all aunties and uncles..haha..

On e 1st day after reaching taoyuan airport,we straight away headed to yilan..played with their traditional activities at their farm and and e main activity of e day-releasing e kong ming lantern~! one of my most anticipated activity..haha..e 2nd day travelled to hualien and taidong for more sightseeing..on e way to taidong,saw alot of areas being severely damaged by e flood in aug last yr which was rather big news during tt period of time..felt rather sad to witness e damages done by e devastating flood with my own eyes..anw,we travelled for ard 2 hours plus from hualien to taidong before settling at taidong's hot spring hotel..initially super looking forward to e hot spring! but due to e rain we couldn't go for e outdoor 1..e glad thing was we could hav our private hot spring in our own rooms..haha..though a little disappointed coz it's nt really wat i imagined,i still quite like e hot spring actually..hehe..

E 3rd day we headed down to Kenting~! Kenting was really really very beautiful~! esp e nice blue sea..but e weather there was super hot,abit like spore's..so sad tt we din gt e chance to go to e Kenting beach and play with e water activities over there! only gt e time to walk ard e shops there..oh well,there's always a next time! started heading up to kaohsiung..by e time we reached kaohsiung it's already ard evening time..went to e liuhe night market for our 1st round of 小吃~! haha..loveeeee them to bits~! at there we saw someone - 赵又廷(e guy in e movie monga)..............................'s dad...lolx...his dad is also a celebrity..jux tt i guess not much pple in our generation know him..haha..me and ah man saw him on tv e day before,and we gt to see him in real e next day..haha!

E 4th day we continued our journey to e sun moon lake~! went to their famous temple and e peacock graden over there..den toured ard a small island which was only meant for e "原住民" by boat,before heading to our hotel..after our dinner at a "原住民" restaurant,we bought bubble tea! and their bubble tea was really yummy~!maybe bcoz of their tea leaves used..their bubble tea was nt only cheap,but huge! i tink all of us couldnt finish drinking..haha..and we tried their beer! we bought 2-1 tasted like cough syrup(yikes),and e other more authentic tasted as bad,but still better than tiger beer..

Finally we were heading back to taipei on e 5th day! but before tt we headed to Hsitou,which was some forested area..e air there was super fresh! felt quite refreshed after a stroll ard..and e scenery there was quite magnificent..it seemed like a gd place for retirement yea..haha..after tt headed down to Jiufen..we were quite lucky coz initially we gt to cancel it coz e place gt some praying section on tt day den tour buses were nt allowed to go up...but luckily e praying section ended earlier than expected so we still gt to go after all..bought quite alot of their famous local products from there..and had a full lunch..and finally we went back to taipei..went to fisherman's wharf and Danshui old street..it's slightly drizzling when we gt there..heng when we headed to shihlin nigh market,no more rain! heh heh..another round of 小吃,this time gt their famous and original 豪大鸡排! *slurp!* din really shop much coz it's so damn crowded tt night and we din really hav a luxury of time to shop finish..bought some 小吃 back to e hotel to eat..wahaha..

On e 6th day went to museums,tea leaves shop,fengshui shop,miramar for e ferris wheel,taipei 101 and finally to ximending~! initially one of our plans was to go yehliu,but e tour guide said if we were to go yehliu we would waste alot of travelling time and would hav to shorten e time for other subsequent places..so e tour guide decided to change to miramar instead..even better coz i can go for e ferris wheel~!hehe..only me and ah man wanted to go for e ferris wheel,so rainbow and jaz went to walk ard while we went for e ferris wheel..it's cheaper for students and im very surprised they actually accepted nus ez-link card! lolx..after i finally digged out my wallet,i din actually realised i gt bring my ez-link until 1 of my tour groupmate pointed out to me..so heng i gt e tix at student price..but coz ah man bought e tix earlier than me so i couldnt help her gt e tix together with mine..felt abit bad actually..we decided to go to e washroom 1st before taking..when we came out,jux nice some of our tour groupmates were going to board e next cabin so they called us to take e same cabin..we dun nd to queue le..haha!but a lil paiseh coz e queue was quite long..

Went to taipei 101..but too bad we din gt to take e lift up..coz it's quite foggy outside and we thot it would be a waste of money if we go up and cant see anything..so we jux walked ard and headed to ximending after dinner..surprisingly,there's nth much to buy at ximending..prob coz we gt nt much money left,and e clothes there dun really suit me..haha..on e last day we only stayed in hotel to play games and watch tv coz we gt to leave e hotel at 12 plus le..but actually we could hav stayed a bit longer,coz e time for our flight given to e tour guide was 1 hour earlier,so e tour guide arranged for us to leave earlier..haha..since we gt alot of time, we went to a cafe for lunch and chit chat before bidding goodbye to e tour guide and to taiwan~!

I wanna go taiwan again~! wanna go shop till i drop without having to worry gt any time limit..wanna go back kenting for e beach and water activities..wanna go back for more 小吃! haha..but 1st,money gt to start rolling in 1st..now im like super broke already..

Finally my exams are over~! end of my stressed and boring and torturous 2 weeks! haha...whee~!

Wat's next? My post exam activities~! haha..got to play and relax awhile before settling down to look for a job...but actually i was thinking whether i shld look for 1 before or after my results came out which is at end of may..hmmm..ok,i shall consider again after next week after my trip..haha..

Im sooooo looking forward to my taiwan trip now! can finally start counting down..lolx..initially gt some hiccups here and there,but finally it's confirmed! woo hoo! it's my very 1st trip to taiwan can(dun say me sua gu horz..haha)...i have been yearning to go to taiwan for so long..finally i gt a chance to go...and actually it's considered my graduation trip! tt's why im particularly excited..wahahaha..but i better hope it's my grad trip! coz e results aren't out yet..gotta pray hard tt my results are ok..haha..

我最近看到我一位朋友所说的话。她说“我们做选择的时候，最困难的不是选择什么，是要放弃什么." 看了之后，我突然有许多的感慨。人在选择放弃与否的时候，往往都得承受一堆痛苦与挣扎才可以做出一个决定。我也不例外。最近，经过了一番思考，我觉得是时候放弃他了。

起初，跟他相处了一段日子，我只是很欣赏他的为人。怎么知道，久而久之，我发现我已不知不觉喜欢上他了。也许早早的时候我根本不应该越陷越深，不过我真的没有料到我会这么不由自主地喜欢他。所以说感情真的是无法控制的。

跟他相处让我感到很快乐。就算只是远远地跟我微笑和打招呼，或是匆匆忙忙地跟我说几句话，我一整天的心情都会很开朗。可是我想他给我的快乐得到此为止了，因为我选择了放弃。虽然很痛，但总好过抱着没有可能的希望。所以，当我看到我朋友的那句话时，我的心真的很痛，因为她说到我的心坎里了。我放弃他的决定是很困难的。

也许女孩主动本来就不是一件容易的事。我不是不曾努力过，只是到最后我还是缺了“勇气”这个字。也许是因为我知道他对我没有同样的感觉。虽然我不是他，不知道他心里在想什么，但是女人的直觉是很准的。有些事情不用说的，用感觉也能明白。他的一些举动真的让我感到心灰意冷。所以我渐渐地知道我们是不可能的。既然我知道结局会是如何，那我何必自己把刀插在自己的胸口上呢？

haiz..现在我就快毕业了，或许少了机会看到他，能让我慢慢彻底地放下他吧。。。

My last day in nus~!

Woah..din realised it's been a month since i last updated it~!

Yea as usual i was really very busy with all e never ending school stuff..my last sem was particularly busy! got like so many tests and assignments projects and presentation,and 1 of my toughest assignment was actually to compose a midi! it's damn tough can...especially when i gt no music background at all..anw,all these will come to an end(at least for now) since im graduating already! ydae was my last day of school...din went around taking photos with everyone coz i din bring my camera along~! and din really realised it's my last day coz i was so busy studying for ydae's test till i totally forgot abt it...

Dunno y,my feelings were kinda mixed ydae...actually i had been anticipating for this day to come ever since like dunno when,so i was quite happy tt finally this day arrives..but dunno y i felt a lil sad at e same time..tt kind of mixed feelings dun feel good at all~! Maybe i jux cant bear to part with some of my frenz i made over there..and also e fun and happy times spent in nus..of coz im not those active kind of student la,but i will miss e times i had with my buddies in sch(no matter is it during lecs or slacking..haha),and all e laughing and teasing ard with my coursemates during lecs and lab sections...though my life in nus wasnt really very happening,i still had a very memorable time during these 3 years,and i was especially glad tt i gt a great bunch of buds with me during these times~! i tink im going to miss my days in nus~!

Hmmm...last day of e final sem is equivalent to exams coming soon! gt to mug hard for these last few papers..i din really done well for my CAs,so gt to work especially hard for e papers...but wat im worried abt now is tt i scared i gt not enough time to finish studying coz recently i got to move house so i was rather busy packing up our stuffs...anw,jux hope i can hav better time management..haha..

Finally i can take a breather! it's been such a hectic 1 and a half week - 3 tests and 1 lab report,e 2 of e tests are my core mods and they were super hard..almost everyday gt to slp late and wake up early...and gt to memorize so many things until head big big..it's so stressed can..plus e damn unbearable hot weather made e whole studying condition even worse! luckily these few days e weather turned for e better..

Im especially sad for e transition metal test,coz i dunno y,e moment i received e paper,my mind was like a blank! i starred into e paper like starring at some weird algebras sia,nth came out of my mind! even if i wan to jux scribble anything i oso cant coz i oso dunno wat to scribble..jialat man..ydae's test wasnt any better..made quite a few careless mistakes..i guess supposedly this pp shld be easy to score but i actually made stupid mistakes..sianz!! oh well,also cant do anything to salvage right now..only got to buck up for e exams..jiayou jiayou~!!

Anw,recently attended 2 concerts,not those kind of rock or pop concerts,but classical music concerts..haha..it's actually for my sci of music mod which requires me to write up an essay review for any concerts i attended..i guess e lecturer would prefer those kind of classical music concerts so me and jaz decided to go for 1..

Attended 1 on e 28th feb...it's performed at e UCC by some pianist from overseas,we thot since he's from overseas his performance shld be quite worth watching..we decided to dress up abit since it's after all a classical performance,but we realised we seemed to be overdressed..most of e pple like gg in with t-shirts..haha..actually i oso dunno is it we overdressed or they underdressed..but we believed it's e latter..haha..

Quite alot of pple attended e concert..thot e performance shld be quite gd..in e end we were so disappointed man..probably we dunno how to really appreciate his pieces..music is very subjective..we left halfway during a 15 mins break coz we were too bored already..

Decided to attend another one since we dunno how to review tt previous concert and we din finish watching..so we attended one ydae..e performance was at conservatory of music this time..

It was rather fantastic~! at least way better than e previous one..especially liked e sound of e harp..it's quite rare to be able to listen to harps...at least we din waste our trip this time..=P

Diarrheoa! (again)

Play time is seriously going to be over le! time is like super tight after e recess week..1 test was over already,and i still gt 3 more tests coming up in e next 2 weeks..1 essay due at e end of march and 2 projects due in start of april! oh man..time seems so not enough for me~! urgh...

After e new year hols,i stayed home for most of e time for e rest of e recess week...partly coz cant celebrate cny so no house hopping...den still gt lab reports to finish and to study for my geog test on tt mon right after e recess week..but on sat is e traditional "ren ri" which is on e seventh of e new year period...it's always our family's tradition to celebrate,but this year we went to 4th uncle jimmy's house instead of my aunt's house..went there at abt 6 plus and we were e 1st to arrive..haha..so we started eating 1st so tt we could gave up our seats for others who came later..this yr's dinner was rather sumptuous-gt pok chan(erm..it's some prata-like thing tt's made of flour and is rolled-up,my uncle said it's cantonese tradition to eat tt during ren ri),porridge,ee-mee,roast meat and duck,and tau suan..and they were yummy! much delicious than those made by my aunt *oops*..

After dinner,my 4th uncle showed us a presentation made by him,it's all e photos tt we took quite a few years ago..e oldest photos were from 2003,means im still in sec 3! looking back at e past photos,it's a little omg la..for some of my cousins,it's really quite a drastic change! some still gt e "jing dian macdonald center parting" hair can! lolx!

Played cards after tt..when we played until quite sian already,suddenly one of my cousins suggested playing "zhong ji mi ma" coz there's still quite abit of leftover food..at 1st our punishment was set as 1 bowl of porridge or tau suan..it's damn exciting and scary coz 1 bowl was seriously crazy when we were already quite full from e dinner! not to say e probability of having 2nd or 3rd bowl.. i was considered quite lucky coz gt many times i gt to choose between 2 nos only and i managed to guess e correct 1..after quite a few rds we started getting bloated so we reduced e punishment to roast meat,but at e end we were already trying to push e food into our stomach..after a few more rds my sis sort of "boycott" e game coz we were so damn bloated to e max already! when we gt home we din feel any discomfort,jux felt bloated only..but e worst only came early in e morning...

Started to hav diarrheoa from 6plus in e morning onwards..initially i thot i was e only 1 having diarrheoa,but i realised when e 3 of us started fighting for 2 toilets..and mind u,we are fighting for toilets at 6am in e morning..haha...so for e whole of sun,i couldn really study much for e test on mon coz i nd to run to e toilet every now and then..for me,e diarrheoa lasted until monday morning,and im considered quite lucky coz my test was in e noon and my diarrheoa stopped before tt..

So my lesson for e day was nv to play zhong ji mi ma when i got tests around e corner..haha..

Though this year i couldnt celebrate new year,at least i din rot at home e whole day during e 3 days..but it's still a little boring as compared to celebrating new year..

On sunday went to hav mac lunch coz my mum wanna eat e prosperity burger and e twister fries..for me i ate my usual mac fav mcspicy coz i dun really like beef..after tt went to Hongbao river to stroll ard..wanted to try e sichuan snacks but we were too full to eat tt time so in e end nv try..but e finger food there look quite delicious and interesting..now to tink of it,abit regretted nt trying..ard 4 plus we headed down to nsrcc..one of my grandaunt booked a chalet over there to pass time,coz her family couldnt celebrate new yr as well since granduncle passed away nt long ago oso..had steamboat and bbq for dinner! yummy~! love bbq food to max! tink i really ate alot of e bbq food coz most of e others were already quite full from e steamboat,e bbq was jux some extras..more than half of e time me and my bro were doing e grilling..i guess we were e only ones who were interested in e cooking part..haha..after eating,some went to watch dvd while others jux sat at one corner to chit-chat..for kids of coz they enjoyed themselves jux by running ard non-stop..we den headed for home at ard 11 plus..

On 2nd day we went to mac again,but this time was for breakfast..coz i tink most of e hawker centres were still closed so could only go for fast food..planned to go to our aunt's house to visit but when my dad called her house a few times nobody answered..while waiting for time to pass,we went to bugis to walk ard and go to e temple..till 1 plus there's still nobody answering e phone so my dad called my 4th uncle and he told us my aunt and family went for a short trip..since we got nowhere else to go,we headed for home..but on our way home,we bought yu sheng at chinatown for lou hei tt night..coz my dad gg china for work on thurs so we decided to lou hei earlier..

On 3rd day,we already dunno where else to go..so we went bugis again,coz my dad wanna go e temple one more time before flying off..ate breakfast at our usual place(not mac btw)..but tt day our breakfast was unusually quiet..coz my mum only sort of flared up abit at some minor thing,my dad dunno y suddenly threw tantrums and did some things to show his frustrations..e 3 of us were quite taken aback by his actions..in e end nobody talked when eating breakfast..but luckily after i went to e toilet and came out,everyone's ok already...haha..after gg to e temple we shopped ard at OG and bugis junction,den we went home already,coz there's really nowhere else to go! wanted to try our luck to see if aunt would be at home,but in e end she said she's gg out..oh well..

Hmmm...actually i should be doing my lab report now,but really do until sian already,and im still in a holiday mood~! So hard to focus~!

Or maybe i should stop thinking about u so tt i can focus even more...

Recently i experienced quite an eerie incident in sch..on tues me and jaz stayed back in sch to finish up our geog mod assignment due on wed,coz we dun hav any classes on wed and we dun wanna specially went back sch to hand up e assignment,so we planned to hand up on tue..initially we stayed in sci fac to do,but ard 8 plus we suddenly thot we shld check if e geog department room would be locked,if it's locked den it would be no point staying in sch already..so we went to arts fac to check and luckily e room wasnt locked..to save e trouble we jux settled at a nearby bench to finish up..e bench was quite near a toilet so it's nth surprising tt we heard flushing sounds..but e weird part came..e flushing sound was like non-stop,it jux went on and on..and we could confirm tt there's nobody inside coz e toilet lights were not on..well,we thot maybe there's something wrong with e flushing system,so it might be quite normal if we heard e continuous flushing sound..den suddenly there's a lady walking towards e toilet,she jux lightly pushed open e door and she jux stood outside e toilet,nt even stepping in..e light sensor din even catch her presence coz e lights were off e whole time..BUT E FLUSHING SOUND ACTUALLY STOPPED! e lady gave a super puzzled face..tink she jux only wanted to check wat's gg on with e flushing sound..she stood for quite awhile before she walked away from e toilet..for e amt of time she stood outside e toilet,e flushing sound stopped for e same amt of time,but e moment she walked away and disappeared from our sight, E CONTINUOUS FLUSHING SOUND STARTED AGAIN~!

Ok..we knew it's time to speed up and zoom off from tt place..in e end we stayed until ard 11 before we quickly handed up and left e campus asap..haha..actually it's nt really tt scary coz we din see anything(and im really glad we din!),more of weird and eerie..but it's after all one of e very few times we stayed in sch until so late,and there's nobody ard us,and e wind was like blowing non-stop..we still felt a lil uncomfortable...and also inevitable tt we would start to tink too much..haha..

Hmmm..another few more hours and it's chinese new year~! and also valentine's day..but well,for me there's nothing to be excited abt this year..coz i cant celebrate for both..cant celebrate cny coz my grandma passed away last month and we gt to mourn for at least 100 days so cant celebrate any special occasions..as for vday,needless to say,no valentine how to celebrate?haha..im not even particularly happy abt e long public hols coz nus "eat" away our public hols by bringing forward our recess week! e official recess week shld be next week but they brought forward to this week this year~! hmmm..maybe looking at e bright side,i can use e time to finish up my dramas..lolx..

Eat and eat and eat!

On mon after lec,stayed in sch intending to do my report before gg down to vivo in e evening..of coz in e end i did something else instead of doing report-watching drama..lolx..ard 5 plus travelled down to vivo to meet bee kuan,my pri sch buddy..she came back from australia for some time already since it's her summer hols now..she even bought some souvenirs back for me..=) we decided to meet up before she goes back during e new yr..walked ard for quite a while before we decided to go kim gary for dinner..long time since i last ate kim gary le..got to drink their nice nice yuen yang~! hee..after dinner went up to e open rooftop garden to chat..wanted to find a gd spot to sit down,but we realised most of e dark spots were occupied by couples..lolx..in e end we sat down near some lightings since nobody occupies and we were already "bright" enough..we chatted for quite long until 11 plus before we headed home..

Tues went to satisfy our cravings for botak jones! went to e clementi branch after lec with ah man,jaz and rainbow..i missed their fries can~! as usual,i ate until i was so damn bloated..coz when me and ah man ordered for mine,e service crew din ask whether we wan small or big one..in e end when e food came,e proportion was like...gigantic...i saw e receipt den realised e crew assumed i wan e big one..but dunno y e others had e small one except mine..luckily my "大胃王" 名称不是盖的..i managed to finish almost e whole plate except for some coleslaw and bread..haha..after tt went to clementi central area to walk ard and buy things before we went separate ways for home..

On thurs after our lab session me,pat and delphine went to e career fair held at mpsh..delphine is my lab partner,and i realised tt e world is really very small,coz she's actually e cousin tt jingyi mentioned to me a few times! i din know until delphine asked me whether i know who's jingyi den she told me..e name din ring a bell when jing told me abt her cousin tt time and i doubt i will get to know who she is even after i graduate..now we actually met so coincidentally..haha..

Anw,i wanted to look ard for potential occupations and workplace at e fair..wanted to hav a better idea of wat job im seeking for..seriously im still thinking whether to go for laboratory works..if i really go for lab works im actually quite interested in working in AVA and clinical places..but i wonder if i will be stucked at e same position forever coz it looks as if there isnt much career advance in this kind of job..or i shld say,it's really very tough for someone with jux a bachelor degree like me..at e same time im quite interested in banking..e only thing im worried abt gg into banking is e good command for english..as ya know,my english sucks man..tt's my biggest worry..if not i tink i will jux go into banking without hesitating too much..haiz...how come finding a suitable occupation tt i liked is so tough!?!

School had started for 2 weeks already,and this week is e 3rd week..its so damn fast~! Maybe bcoz e 1st 2 weeks were still e honeymoon period and i was also busy with e wake,so time seems to pass unusually fast..anw,i guess e post-funeral issues were more or less settled..somehow i really dun like settling this kind of issues,coz u will inevitably see e ugly side of humans..of coz nt tt dramatic like those in dramas la,but sometimes even minor and harmless actions can make e pple ard them feel disgusted..haiz..ok..shall not continue with it..

Hmmm..I realised my 1st post of e new yr was actually my grandma's death..sounds quite saddening,but yea,it's over and i feel ok already..and thanx everyone for e concern..=)

Anw,i guess before tt,i was too busy enjoying my last week of hols before e sch starts,so din hav e time to update my blog..haha..oh,and i suddenly rmb i said i wanted to update abt my HK trip!but dragged until now i oso lazy to recall le..maybe to summarize,it's damn fun~! and i liked e very cooling weather..if u wanna know where i went,can go my fb to see e pics..e only bad thing was tt coz we went during public hol cum weekend period,there would always be crowds and queues everywhere we go~! and seriously,im very proud of myself for doing all e itineraries~! of coz with e help of xuemei and michael..but still,i did all e planning by myself..it's really hard work,but it's fun and satisfying~! hope i can go either bkk,taiwan or even japan next..BUT no $$$~! =(

Recently,i hurt 1 of my close frens quite badly(i guess)..if u r reading my blog,i hope u understand me..

I only read ur blog recently,den i know how much my words hurt u so deeply..i do admit tt my tone was rather rude on tt day..i guess my tiredness jux made me more easily frustrated,and nt able to think and act appropriately,but for wat i did and said,i do hav my own explanations for tt..i wanted to explain to u,but i realised maybe explanations will only further complicate matters,and i dun wan to bring this up again..wat i can only say is tt our thinkings towards certain things are quite diff...anw wat's done cannot be undone..im really sorry my fren..i still hope our friendship is nt affected badly bcoz of tt..

Goodbye grandma..

Jux last wednesday, my grandma passed away peacefully at home..i still rmb at 6am in e morning my house phone kept ringing a few times and i hear my sis kept picking up e phone and talking..tt time i was only half awake so i din really catch wat my sis was talking abt,so i went back to sleep..a few hrs later i woke up,and i saw e msg regarding this bad news..at tt moment,i was alone at home,and i cried..maybe e news was too sudden for me to accept at tt time..but after awhile,seriously thinking abt it,it's nt exactly a bad thing..coz she had been bedridden for ard 8 years,it's really painful to see her getting thinner and thinner as time went by..now it's actually a relief for her coz she dun hav to be so xin ku anymore..

My grandma(and my grandpa as well,but he passed away already) and I(or rather my siblings too) were very close when we were still kids..talking abt her,my childhood memories were back again..i still rmb:

-how she hold my hand and carried my bag when fetching me back home from kindergarden
-how she made me plump by always giving half of her share of food to me,afraid tt i wun hav enough to eat,and hence helping me to create a record of eating 10 chwee kuehs in 1 meal at tt small age,and till now every single relative still rmb
-how she kept chasing and ranting at me when i monkey up and down e playground near my house
-how she babysit and took care of us when our parents were out for wedding dinner till late,and how we disturbed her during lights out when she was trying to catch some sleep before they came home
-how she(and my grandpa and uncle) brought us to orchard road late at night in our pyjamas to see e lightings and decors

I really wanna thank my grandma for giving me such wonderful childhood memories..I really miss her and really missed those days..but in a way,i felt quite glad for her,not only bcoz she was finally relieved from pain,but also bcoz she can finally reunite with grandpa..

My grandparents were a very loving couple..
everywhere they go,no matter is it crossing e road,gg for breakfast,taking a stroll or going for a trip, my grandpa would always hold my grandma's hand,even till old age..
when my grandma,who was hard of hearing,cant hear clearly to wat pple are saying,my grandpa would be e 1st to be beside her and shout in her ears..
when she got a stroke,he took good care of her when it's jux e 2 of them plus 1 of my uncles living in 1 roof..
when he knew his time was almost up,he was sad tt he got to leave before my grandma and could no longer tk care of her,he asked his children to promise to take very good care of her no matter wat happens..
Though we din tell grandma tt grandpa passed away coz we din wan to agitate her and at tt time she was senile already,she still somehow knew we were lying to her when she asked for him..
I heard from my aunt,every year days before and after grandpa's death anniversary,she would either cry or keep talking to herself,as if talking to someone else..we believed she was trying to talk to grandpa..
Really envy them..envy their longlasting love till their last breath..

Anw,now we were all glad tt they can finally reunite at a place where we all would eventually go one day..

Grandma,really thanks for taking good care of us..though e mischevious us liked to bully u sometimes,no matter wat,u are really a wonderful grandma..Love you..

It's e end of 2009 already! Another few more hours will be a brand new year..always at this time of any year,it not only reminds u tt u are another yr older,but also gives u e anticipation for all e surprises and happenings waiting for u in e brand new yr..well,it actually depends on how u look at it right..

Anw,i guess(or rather it will be) this will be my last entry of e year yea..so dun wanna update abt my hk trip now,i shall leave it for next time..shall write some short and random stuff here..haha..

2009 is a year filled with more downs than ups..there are many times tt i was ended up disappointed when i had high expectations..but well,maybe in e 1st place i shouldnt hav any expectations at all..sometimes i jux feel sad for myself tt i have this kind of fate..but i always believe there will be a twist when e time comes..tt's wat keeps me gg yea..=) and luckily,it's also a year filled with fun and laughter coz of all e 21st bdaes..it's also a time where some long-time-no-see frenz get together and catch up with one another due to these parties..thinking abt it,it's not a bad year after all right..coz i tink after this yr,it's hard for frenz to get together often coz we were all busy with our own lives and there's less time to organise any gatherings(or maybe we are jux lazy to do so..haha..)..

I guess e coming 2010 will be a different yr for me..it's a yr where i will be wearing my "si fang mao",a yr where i start entering the working society officially and start experiencing all e politics..haha..it sounds rather scary huh...but still hope it will be a good year yea..

Woah...it's finally going to be christmas! tt means it's jux less than a day away from my HK trip~! =)))

2 days ago my results were out..it's really a mixed feelings kind of results..wat im very happy abt is i finally got my 1st A and A- throughout my whole uni life~! im not exaggerating,but it's really very hard to get an A in NUS~! it's really hard to survive in my faculty yea(ok,at least for me la)..but wat im really sad abt was i totally flung my cm3242! e grade is like a black dot in my result slip lorz..but i also agar know i wun get gd grades for tt,coz i had a difficult time doing my paper coz i gt to bear with my stomachache~! if i knew earlier i would hav jux go to e toilet instead of bearing with it..sianz..but oh well,TWK may be right..if it doesnt affect my graduation den it's ok..shall jux look at e bright side and be jubilant abt my A instead..haha..

Ok..let's focus on other things instead..last sun celebrated "dong zhi" with my family and relatives..had steamboat at 4th uncle's house..initially they planned to hav buffet,but dunno y suddenly change to steamboat..but even better,coz i much prefer steamboat!wahaha..had a satisfying steamboat~! din get e chance to eat tang yuan coz of my braces..but had a bowl of bobochacha tt my 4th aunt cooked and it's very yummy~!after tt we cousins played asshole daidee..our usual game coz there's quite alot of us and it's e only game tt can involve everyone of us..wanted to play monopoly but cant coz we got to go off at 9 plus..

Ydae night had an early christmas celebration with ex-bca colleagues-dennes,grace and sam..had dinner at a restaurant at Esplanade,which i forgot e name..but doesnt matter coz e food wasnt fantastic anw..haha..sat and chat until 9 plus before we went kbox to sing overnight..it's been so long since i last sang..really sing until shiokkk~! jinyuan joined us for k at 10 plus..had gift exchange before sam left for e last train home coz he gt a slight flu..e rest of us continued to sing until 3am before we went home sweet home..

Weekends are here again~! and this means almost 3 weeks of my hols were gone liaoz! sianz..school will be starting in 3 weeks time..and this means im gg to graduate in 5 mths time~! thinking of gg to society to work makes me both excited and sian..excited coz i gt more money to spend,but e sad part is i dun hav as much free time to spend them..haha..anw,tink it's really time to start looking out for jobs,or rather to say deciding on wat kind of jobs i wan..im still not sure if i wanna try being a chemist..or shld i look for other jobs not exactly within my field of study..teaching for me it's e last option coz im bad in teaching..well,i still gt abit more time to tink..and tink there will be a career fair next sem..shld go and tk a look before i make further decisions..meanwhile i shall enjoy e rest of my 3 weeks~!

So wat hav i been doing during e 3 weeks?out of boredom,i shall jux list them down..haha..

-Watching movies and dramas on dvds and online
-Playing online games until sian
-Gg frenz hse for mahjong sessions
-Hanging out with frenz and cliques
-Baking cakes and trying out new receipes
-Packing my stuff (which till now i still haven complete coz of my procrastination!)
-Planning itineraries for my coming hk trip!

And guess wat?no more 21st bdaes~! lolx..this means tt we are turning 22 soon..oh my..we are starting to age..haha..

Ydae noon went to rainbow's sis house to play mahjong..initially wanted to swim at e condo pool before tt but it's raining in e morning so end up we din swim..after me,pat and ah man met up at a bus stop nearby,rainbow and her sis picked us up and went up together..it's our 1st meeting with baby caleb,rainbow's sis precious baby boy..and he's super cute and chubby can! (din get much chance to tk a gd pic of him)babies are always fun to play with,but sometimes it gets troublesome when they suddenly cry..after settling down,we took a stroll ard e condo with rainbow's maltese,frosty..proceed to mahjong after tt..wat's diff abt playing mj this time was tt we were playing at e balcony..haha..it's my 1st time yea..we saw e sky turning from cloudy to rainy to sunny while playing..washing tiles become unusually quiet coz e noise lvl outside already overwhelms it..haha..ard 4 plus we stopped playing coz rainbow gt to prepare as she gt to work in e evening,and me and pat gt our own activities too..e 4 of us played Wii while waiting for her sis to feed baby caleb..her sis offered to drive her to her workplace and offered to drop me and pat nearby,so we gt to wait for her..it's my 1st time playing Wii,and it's so damn fun! it's really not hard to believe tt playing Wii can help to tone muscles..really laugh like mad while playing "ravin rabbits" la..it's so funny! laugh until i wanna cry..lolx..

Meeting time for dinner with xuemei,jieying and jingwen was 7..Reached bugis at 6 plus and i shopped alone while waiting for them..xm reached on time..after we walked ard for a while,we decided to settle down at V8 while waiting for them..nv did we expect they were late for an hour..ZzZ..finally after they reached we quickly take our orders..me and xm were famished..lolx..but their proportion of food was so big my stomach almost burst after finishing my fish and chips..we sat down and chit-chat until 10 plus before we went home..

What a wonderful day spent..hope it can be like this everyday..lolx..

Im finally out of e misery~!

Yupz my exams were FINALLY OVER~~~

Felt really damn relief sia..this sem's exam period was one of e most torturing period can,though i only gt 3 papers to sit for..or i can say tt im really damn suay this time..

1) for 2 consecutive papers i got diarrheoa while im sitting for my paper..wat can be worse than having a stomachache during e paper and hesitating whether to rush to e toilet or to jux bear with it and sit thru e whole exam!!? and it's already frustrating tt e paper was tough enough..it's really a torture man..gt 1 of e pp i really couldnt tahan anymore,so i jux rushed to e toilet..in e end my pp was only more than half done sia..=(

2) a few days before my 2nd pp i gt menstral pain,and e extent of e pain was really so disturbing i couldn concentrate on studying~! and it lasted for 2 days! my tt 2 days were almost wasted sia..

3) Prayed hard tt my diarrheoa dun act up again for my 3rd and last pp cm3232..luckily it really din..but e pp was super tough! when i read e qns my mind was like "wat e hell are they talking?"..seriously my mind was really a blank,like all e things i studied were all gone sia..and for e pp,it's like i only know how to do abit more than 1/4 of it sia..sounds so cham can..but some consolations came when my other frenz oso tink it's very tough..so hope e bell curve can save me..

Now tt it's over,i can only pray hard hard..meanwhile,i shall jux enjoy e rest of e holidays!!

On tue noon my mum and i went to meet up with my sis after her facial..den we went ion orchard to shop for some winter clothings..in e end we bought quite a few comfy jackets at uniqlo..they were really very comfy and thick enough for warmth..and it's cheap~! i liked their jeans too,but dun hav my size..sad..but heard there's sales at e newly opened uniqlo at somerset 313~! i so wanna go! but if i go during these few days sure packed with pple de,and had to queue up for ages jux to try their jeans..but i tink given e kiasu-ness of pple e jeans will sold out in no time..haha..shall see whether i wanna be as kiasu anot..haha..

Oh ya..i wanna buy winter clothings coz im gg hong kong this christmas~! sooooo excited sia! it's been a really long time since i last sat on a plane!haha..ok,shall not sound so sua gu here..haha..im so looking forward to christmas~! =P

Ydae went to watch "ninja Assassin" with ah man and rainbow at e cathay..e show was ok only,though e whole movie was quite fast-paced,e plot was rather hilarious..but in e 1st place i din really hav much expecatations on e movie,so there wasnt any disappointments..jux thinking tt they really used alot of "red syrups" for e show,and rain was so not shuai can..his ugly long hair was back..but those who liked rain should really watch e show,coz e movie was really jux to portray his shuai-ness by making him e hero of e day(sorry,but it doesnt work on me..)..

After tt pat and jaz joined us for late lunch at Aston..e service here was really quite bad,and e food was not hot at all,esp my fav baked potato..really preferred e suntec branch where e food was served hot and their service was really much better..went to shop ard at far east and ion after lunch,but i din buy anything coz i already walked there quite a few times recently..when our legs gt tired le we went to starbucks to chill and camwhore for quite some time before we went home sweet home..

My recess week is here! dunno whether i shld welcome it in fear or in excitement..obviously e recess week is meant for us to study and prepare for our coming exams,yet till now i used it to enjoy-going out,watching dramas,playing more fb games and updating my blog now..haha! but actually i felt abit guilty now,and also quite scared coz it's jux less than a week to my 1st paper! i tink i really deserve a slap for being so slack! (eh..sounds quite rthyming wor) but i know if i study at this hour(and when e paper is still more than 3 days away),"zhou gong' can easily come and find me to play chess with him..sianz..tell me wat to do man..

For e last few days,i was out e whole day for almost everyday..Last thurs was my last day of sch..got my bahasa indo oral on tt day..once again,i tink i screwed up e oral..there's 2 sections to e oral-1 is dialogue which me and pat(my partner for e oral) muz come up with a short 3 min convo which we were given 10 mins before e oral exam,and e other was tt each of us had to choose betweeen a topic or a picture and we had to talk abt it individually for 2 mins..our dialogue was ok,but our solo part was quite bad..gt stunned by e pic we chose..really reminded me of e olden sch days when we also had oral for our language..looks like my weakness for oral was still e pict part..haiz.shld had chose topic instead,regretted choosing pic..

Anw,after our oral,we went to hav crystal jade buffet with ah man and rainbow! it's our only consolation for e day..haha..it's a steamboat buffet but with free flow of 小笼包~! love 小笼包 to bits! e buffet started at 5 but we only reached there at 530 coz we gt to wait for rainbow to finish her oral at 5..e famished us immediately ordered lots of food upon settling down..lolx..pat and me,needless to say,we ate e most..but this time ah man and rainbow ate alot too..other than e dishes for e steamboat,we conquered 4 plates of 炸馒头(1 plate gt 4 buns) and 8 笼 of 小笼包(each gt 5 小笼包)! haha..but at e end we ate until each of us gt sick of some of e food..tink we ate too much le..haha..

On fri i went shopping with pat..decided to go vivo since it's been some time since we last went..and i gt to find pink clothes for amanda's party coz i gt none! and her theme for e party is pink..im rather amazed tt i gt no pink clothes at all..there's nt much to buy over there..wanted to try some tops from forever21,but i gave up coz e queue was surprisingly long..in e end i only managed to buy some tank tops from mango and a pink top from kitchen..in a way i shld be quite happy coz i din spend alot this time..haha..

On sat met up with pat and rainbow to discuss our assignment for cm3242..went to ngee ann poly to do instead of sch coz i tink it's more convenient when i go to amanda's party later in e evening..and there are more benches and sockets over there..wanna take bus 75 to np,but i tink i was too preoccupied with my thots when walking to e bus stop,i din realise i took e wrong dirn until it's near e last bus stop at marina sq! i quickly walked to e opposite bus stop which was at e esplanade and it's very far away..while i was walking i realised i forgot to scan my ez-link when alighting..craps! luckily i din wait for long before e bus arrived,but when boarding i realised i was taking e same bus tt i alighted jux now..=.= so it was another 50 mins ride to np..by e time i reached there it's almost 2..

Initially planned to meet up with e gals at clementi mrt at 545 before gg to amanda's party together..but i was too busy discussing with them till i nearly forgot e time,and we werent really done yet..so in e end i decided to go alone later..by e time i reached amanda's party venue at west coast it's abt 7 already..e function room was really overwhelmed with pink..among our gals only sze din wear pink coz she's e only 1 who hates pink to e core..haha..e buffet manda ordered was from "neo garden" which i liked..ate quite alot coz i was quite hungry and i really liked e food from this caterer..tink others also gt quite a few rounds too..haha..

Before and after e cake cutting,lim hwee gave us a simple puzzle for us to solve..abit hard to explain e rules here(even lim hwee himself gt abit difficulties when explaining all e rules)..i guess e solving part and showing our solutions to him was e funniest..really laughed until my mouth ache at tt time lorz..lolx..we left e place at ard 10 plus..su sian drove me to je mrt station den drove e rest of e gals home coz they all lived in e west area..

On sunday other than gg out for breakfast with my family,i stayed at hm e whole day..but e whole afternn i was completing my assignment while watching korean dramas..haha! tt night my sis came back from malacca..and she bought some "土產" from there-"碰饼", 核桃饼and 淡汶饼(one of my fav 土產!)..it's really very fresh and delicious! (no pics here,in case u all drool saliva too..lolx!)

Yesterday my sis went for facial at e beauty salon which i sometimes visit at far east..me and my mum tagged along since she dunno where it was,and she wanted to look for clothes for her bestie's wedding..she was 1 of e "jie meis' for her fren's wedding,and their colour theme is champagne gold..we shopped ard while waiting for her..but there wasnt much to shop coz quite alot of shops opened late..only managed to buy a pair of sandals..by e time my sis was done it's abt 1 plus,had lunch at ramen ten before we shopped 1 more rd again..wanted to buy a blazer which i saw 2 saturdays ago,but when i tried my luck ydae,it's sold out! so sad can! shldnt hav hestitate when i 1st saw and fell in love with it..argh~! after another rd of walking,i bought a bag and some accessories..my sis din manage to find any nice champagne gold top or dress..so we went to Tangs and wisma to try our luck but failed..den we went to MS and citilink to try but oso nth much there..decided to stop for e day coz our legs were breaking soon,and sis gt to meet her fren for dinner..

Ok..tink i better stop here..before i start my studying proper,maybe i shld 1st pack my messy table! my notes are spread all over e table..lolx..till next time den~! =)

Yesterday was a very hectic day..and a day with a big headache..got my practical exam and basasa indo test ydae..my prac exam was in e morning..e 1st part of e exam was e prac quiz,which i tink i screwed up,coz my analytical chem was very weak,and i got so many qns to ans within 30 mins..it's really mission impossible for me..dun even hav time to tink of e ans le,not to say to finish writing e long long explanations..next came e prac test..e experiment was exactly e same as e 1 we did during year 2,but tt exp was 1 of my weakest,coz i dun really like to pack ion-exchange columns..haiz..nvm..at least i tink e raw data i obtained wasnt too far from my frenz..so shld be fine..only e answering theory qns part,i guessed it's "xiong duo ji shao"..

Next came e bahasa indo test..it started at 6pm so me and pat still gt time to hav late lunch and study abit more..but at tt period of time we already had a headache..maybe we used too much of our brain cells on e prac test le..in e end i tink i din do well for e test..my head really couldnt tink well and it seems like i had forgotten e stuff i studied e night before..Sianz ahhh~! Thurs still got oral..hope it will go fine and smooth..

Ok..shall stop talking abt sch stuff..last sat went for a haircut at a salon..went with xuemei coz she wanted to rebond her hair..met for lunch at far east..den we shopped ard 1st,coz i gt to find pink clothes for e coming amanda's 21st..realised i din even hav 1 piece of pink clothes..but cant find any nice ones..so we went to e salon after tt..initially i only went to trim my hair..jux when me and my hairdresser was talking abt how little my hair was,and i said i wanna perm next time,he suggested helping me to do temporary perms to let me get e feeling of perming..lolx! and it's FOC!

And so tt's how i look after e perm..

So does perming looks nice on me?haha..of coz i know temp perms and permanent perms look diff..but at least can agar see how my hair will look like after "volumising"..haha..so do i look more mature? should i perm next time?haha..i felt so damn happy after seeing my hair "grows" lorz..

Anw,tt day we were e last customers to leave again..coz xm's rebonding and colouring really need alot of time..in e end we only left e salon at 10 plus..had late dinner (or rather supper) at pastamania..were quite surprised tt it was still open at this hour..coz we were quite hungry,we ordered 1 plate of pasta each..but i certainly felt super sinful after eating! lolx..

Dun really like to backlog,but i really wanna blog something which im truly amazed with~!

On e 25th tt sun went to chijmes with dennes and grace to watch e big match between liverpool and man u..initially was hesitating whether to go coz e match would end at 12am and i got class at 8am e next morning..but in e end i still went coz i really missed e atmosphere over there! anw,we went there at 8 plus to hav dinner 1st and at e same time "chop" e seats early before it got more and more crowded..settled down at a restaurant called "ace"..sells indian food..i myself doesnt really like indian food,but surprisingly e food there wasnt too bad,jux tt it's a lil bit salty,but e taste was alright..this restaurant got a very simple game called "pick-a-card"..this is how e game goes-u pick a card from 3 decks of poker cards which were already placed nicely in a long box(those tt we see in casinos,but i dunno wat it's called) by them,watever card u draw is e price u gg to pay for any drink u ordered..let's say u ordered a drink which cost $12,when u draw a 4 of any suit,u jux nd to pay $4 for tt drink which originally cost $12..if u draw an ace,e drink will be on e house,but if u draw a pic card,den u will pay e original price listed on their menu..interesting right..haha..

So we decided to try..for me,i ordered a vodka lime cost $12..beofre i drew a card i already knew i wun be tt lucky..HAHA..unexpectedly i actually drew a 4! where can i gt a cup of vodka lime for jux $4?wahaha..was quite happy with myself..after awhile me and dennes wanted to try our luck again,so i ordered a fruit punch oso cost $12..i thot most prob this time i wun be tt lucky again..surprisingly,i actually drew an ace,which means i gt e drink for free! hahaha..i paid only $4 for 2 drinks which originally cost me $24..woo hoo~!

Pardon me yea...coz i rarely got a day which i felt soooo uber lucky..tt day was really really my lucky day~! =D

ok..back to recent events..jux last sat evening went for my sis's family day at her colleague's condo..it's not exactly like those family days tt a company would encourage e whole co pple to bring their family and children along,but it's simply a small gathering organised within her department..and e most impt thing-there's no kiddish games involved..haha..anw,wat motivates me to go was e bbq! suddenly had a craving for bbq food..and there's korean bbq too! yummy yummy..it makes me wanna go for korean bbq buffet next time! any1 hav any reccommendations?haha..oh ya..not forgetting there's also a satayman helping us to 'peng' satay..e satay was damn delicious can! e meat was very tender and juicy,and there's a little fatty meat in it..woah~! talking abt it makes me drool again! *slurp* anw, e weather on tt day was very bad,been raining e whole day..but luckily e bbq pit was kinda sheltered,so didnt really affect much..and tt's why i gt such good food to eat! wahaha..

Ydae got no lab session,so me and pat went to orchard coz she nds to exchange an adidas top she bought for her bf..we changed at cini..we were lazy to walk up to far east,so i suggested gg orchard central to explore..was quite disappointed at 1st coz it was generally still quite empty..den we saw there's a board at e entrance showing some of e restaurants at higher floors,so we went up to have a look since i was a lil hungry,and was craving for ya kun..we came across a cafe tt sells something interesting-large fruit tarts(actually looks more like a fruit pie to me)..it looks damn delicious lorz! but quite ex actually,1 slice ard $7.50..hesitated for quite awhile whether to try anot,but in e end sticked back to ya kun..but we promised to go back and try 1 day!

When we gg took e lift back down after eating,we saw there's a label outside e lift saying there's a rooftop garden..ha..curiosity aroused,so we decided to go up explore ard..wah,it's surprisingly cool! can see quite a clear view from here..e most exciting part was taking e lift up..almost all side of e lift was glass,except for e floor..apparently we could see e lift gg up when we tilted our heads up..cool yea?but pat was so scared she grabbed my hand very tightly..making me also become abit tensed up..lolx..this reminds me of e time when i took e pan pac hotel lift with s20 gals,and min was so scared she sqeezed herself near e lift door so as to stand further away from the glass walls of e lift where we could see wat's outside..haha..

--I jux realised i din post it up until now =X..haha..so it's actually a super late and outdated post but i still post it up anw =)--

Time for updates!! been quite some time since i last updated le..din mean to use back e same excuse,but i really din hav much extra time to really sit down and update..these 2 weeks were rather packed..but not entirely with sch work this time(not to mention doing lab reports coz it becomes a usual thing tt it's always e lab report tt eats up my time), was busy doing some new kinds of things tt i din do before..haha..

One example was doing handcrafts! it's been a long long long time since i last touched art and craft kind of thing..did 1 card with xuemei for jieying's belated bdae and helped pat to do 1 mini album for her 3rd year anniversary with her bf..haha..

Me and xm went to search for her super belated bdae present on e 10th oct tt sat..we walked ard for long hrs but we still couldnt find any suitable item for her..jux as we were intending to give up on searching,we randomly went into e guess shop to try our luck for e last time..we suddenly saw a clutch bag damn suitable for her!we were like so relieved can..no nd fan where to go and search again..tt's wat always happened-e more urgent u wanna find something,e more u couldnt find it,but when it becomes not urgent,it jux showed up in front of u..haha..

E next day we met up at ps to buy materials for her card..went to e shop which famously sell these kind of materials at lvl 3..den went to mac to do e card..i still tink tt my talent in art n craft is very low..but at least e card looks unexpectedly not bad..haha..by e time we finished it's already 9 plus..quickly chiong upstairs to see if there's any restaurants tt's still open..settled at Ichiban and i ordered a katsu set which i regretted later coz it's too much for me to eat such a gigantic portion at such a late timing! i was damn bloated after e dinner la..next time i must be wiser abit..

On thurs met up with grace for dinner..it's kinda our 1st time meeting since all e misunderstandings between us were resolved..treated her to nydc dinner at bugis as a super belated birthday treat which i guessed i owed her..chatted alot abt e misunderstandings btw us..it felt kinda great to have our friendship salvaged..

On fri it's our 1st memasak(cooking) session for our bahasa indo proj! went to our teacher-in-charge Ibu Yuke to learn..our group learnt deserts-kelepon(it's actually ondeh-ondeh but it gt another name in indo) and gula merah (if i din rmb e name wrongly-it's jux some kind of agar agar made of brown sugar)..it's really fun making them!

On sat met up with pat to help her do e album meant for her 3rd anniversary with her bf..haha..she said she dunno how to do this alone..so i decided to help her though my art n craft was quite horrible..haha..after buying e materials,we went to starbucks to do..it's public hols,so supposedly cathay shld hav alot of pple..but it's quite quiet actually..weird..haha..(wanted to post photos but in e end i din coz i tink it's abit nt appropriate here..ha..)

In e evening went to have dinner with my family..it's my bro's treat since he jux got his pay from his attachment..hee..went to east coast to hav seafood! but almost every resaturant was full house,so we jux settled at e "wu zhao pai"(no signboard) seafood since it's e only restaurant which still has empty tables..e food wasnt really tt fantastic,except for e yam ring(my all-time fav~!) and e white pepper crab!

On sun i decided to try making e ondeh ondeh on my own..haha..it's a success ok! i got another new food added to my collection of wat i can cook le!wahaha..

I jux realised e ondeh-ondeh cant be seen coz they are of e same colour as e coconut since i nv add any colourings..lolx..

Let's see who will have e chance to try my cooking next time! =P

Irritating Tests~!

Finally got to rest after a busy week..got to study for 2 tests,chiong a super tough report,and finish my assignment..esp on e tue night where i only slept for 1 hour coz got to chiong tt stupid report due e next day...maybe i jux got to blame myself for being so damn slack during e recess week..haha..shld hav started studying for my tests..i rmb last friday night i started studying for my core mod test,and both my mum and sis actually asked me whether i got a test e next day which was a sat..=.= maybe they were too used to seeing me slack on a friday night..but in fact,im quite proud of myself for being so initiative this time..though my mind wasnt really in a study mood,at least i forced myself to show some effort..haha..but i tink i still screwed up e test anw..haizzz..

Actually this week was supposed to be e-learning week..means all e lectures will be on webcast,and we dun hav to go to sch for lecs..was quite excited at 1st lorz..but at e end realised tt i still got to go to sch almost everyday for my lab and tut and tests..so din make much difference..and now i got a mountain of webcasts waiting for me to complete..faintzz..

Tink my entry getting abit boring..coz got nth much to update now except tests,books and tests..all my fun fun times and activities were during e end of my recess week..but im lazy to update these backlogs..so yea..shall end here..maybe shld learn to sleep early also..Ha!

My long weekend~!

E long weekend seems to pass by real fast~! Playtime always make time fast forward..haha..been playing around during this long weekend,and among these days,i had attended 2 21st bdae parties..but actually,this long weekend doesnt really make much difference to me..coz this week is already my mid-sem break..and this means my hari raya public hol was being cheated off..=/

On friday evening was supposed to attend ming xuan's 21st at sentosa resort..but e others haven even buy e prezzie yet! so i met dione at orchard and we went to hunt for her present together..but after walking ard for 3 hours,we still haven find a nice and suitable present for her..among e VERY few things we tink were nice,either they were out of budget,or they dun suit her..so we called peg for help..we went down to vivo to meet peg and her bf after she knocked off from work..finally after dragging our feet ard to search,we managed to settle on a Tommy Hilfiger bag..by e time we reached e resort,it's already 10 plus..

While waiting for e shuttle bus and at e hotel:

E food was quite sumptuous..there's sushi,noodles,acar,ngioh hiang and chicken chop prepared by mx's mum,and durian crepes bought by her mum also..e curian crepes were super super delicious~! suddenly makes me crave for durians again!haha..cake-cutting started not long after we reached..after tt we nua-ed at her hotel,watched e "legend of e condor heros" together,took polaroids and photos together..by e time we left e hotel,it's already 12 plus gg 1am..

On sunday after having breakfast with my family and buying some necessities at people's park,me and my sis went to catch a movie at bugis coz we got some shaw movies vouchers..watched e movie "whiteout",which i tink was average..before we left,saw some mooncake galore at bugis junction..tt's where my craving for durian mooncake was back after i walked past e goodwood park hotel mooncakes! On impulse,i asked my sis to buy 2 back to try..haha..

Though it's not as delicious as i expected(since goodwood park is famous for its durian pastries),my cravings were still satisfied..slurp~!

Ydae went to east coast with my family to cycle..din expect to be so crowded already at 10 plus..nearly wanted to give up on this plan,but my dad was lucky to find a parking place at which a car was jux abt to leave..but tt "lot" wasnt really a real lot..get wat i mean?haha..anw,e thing we loved to cycle there is bcoz it's cheap..rent 1 hr with another hr free..but actually it's not really wise to go cycling on a public hol coz it's always super crowded,and are more prone to accidents..was quite apologetic to a guy whom i crashed into ydae..there's 1 top-naked peh peh trying to cross e cycling path like nobody's business,and suddenly he stopped in front of me coz i tink he wanted to wait for a kid who's cycling very slowly to cycle across 1st..tt time i knew even if i braked immediately i would still bang into him..so i swirled to e right instead..but i din know there's a guy cycling very fast from behind,so i crashed into him while avoiding tt peh peh..coz he's very fast,he flew out of e bicycle while i only fell out lightly from mine..luckily he din hurt badly,if nt i will be very guilty le..anw,though i only cycled for 2 hours,i already got a sunburnt lorz..it's super sunny in e early noon la...

But dunno y it started to rain heavily at 2 plus..tt time we were at bedok walking ard coz my mum wanted to go to e mega ntuc over there..always like to buy alot of cakes and breads from there,coz it's cheap and nice! we always joked tt if we wanna move house,we shld move to bedok coz got alot of nice food to eat..haha..went home after tt..den got to immediately start preparing to go to dione's 21st in e evening at nsrcc..

Met cindy at tm mrt before taking e shuttle bus in..tt time it's only 6 plus,we thot of orientating ard since it's still early..sadly it rained even before we stepped out of e resort lobby..started looking for any sheltered ways..but there's none..so we called dione to bring some umbrellas for us to walk to her chalet..

Her party food consisted mainly of bbq-ed food(there were otah,chicken wings,hotdogs,satay,sambal sotong and sambal stingray) plus some pineapple rice and noodles to go with them...coz it was raining,e bbq only started at 7 plus close to 8..prob this was e reason why e cake-cutting started rather late at 10pm..coz e last shuttle bus was at 1030,we got to eat our cake while trying to catch tt last shuttle bus..but in e end we still couldnt make it..jux nice there's a cab driving in to let its passenger alight..initially we split 4-3 since there's 7 of us..but e cab driver offered to drive all of us to tm mrt,since he knew it's hard to get a cab from there..and so e 7 of us squeezed into e cabbie..LOL..

Ahhh...finally got to update..there's always something wrong with e blogger everytime i wanted to update...grrr...got a few times wanted to jux vent some frustrations over here but couldnt..damn idiotic..but nvm,already felt much better now..

For e past 2 weeks there wasnt really much things gg on during e weekdays..jux been gg sch as usual,stoning in lec as usual,and following my daily night routine as usual..haha..weekdays are usually e most boring days..coz cant really go out until late at night since we got to study or for some pple,they got to work e next day..of coz except for fri la..haha..tt's y always super anticipate weekends to come..coz got more activities to enjoy! =P

On e 5th,went to attend jazreel's 21st party..it's held at her uncle's condo function room at sengkang..so got to travel a long way there..lucky i got a direct bus to there,so dun hav to tk mrt since i got bus concession..i always prefer to take bus than mrt,even if e bus ride was super long..but provided im not in a rush la..anw,met up with pat,rainbow and ah man at e interchange before gg together..

Her party theme was green..so when we reached there,we were like overwhelmed with green..e buffet catering she ordered was really delicious! she ordered from "simply peranankan"..though more expensive than those usual catering service,e food was really very nice and i tink it's worth e price..thinking abt e assam fish curry i ate tt day made me drool again!haha..we left e place at 10 coz we nd to travel a long way back..ah man took e bus with me..we chatted non-stop throughout e journey..haha..had a fun time chatting with her..i tink e whole bus can hear our laughter..lolx..

E next day went to have sakae buffet with xm..finally satisfied my sushi craving after such a long time! we went to e branch at icon village since only tt branch offer sunday buffet..and it's very near my house,so i jux need to walk there..haha..went to e toilet 1st before gg into e restaurant..while i was in e cubical and xm was at e mirror,both of us heard some weird and continuous disgusting burping sound..we still thot it was either 1 of us who did it,and still teased each other for being so disgusting when i came out of e cubical..it was den we realised it wasnt any of us, e sound was coming from e cubical at e corner of e toilet,which we din even realised it was occupied in e 1st place..we thot we were e only ones in e toilet..we din even dare to make a sound after tt and we quickly zoomed out of e toilet,laughing out super loud after tt..lolx..i always enjoyed my time with her coz we always got to crap around,laugh out loud and also have heart-to-heart talks with each other..haha..

On e 12th met up with my ex-colleague for dinner..it was supposed to be my treat but turned out to be his treat..felt quite guilty actually..had our dinner at mac at e west coast area and walked around e west coast park after tt..jux realised tt it's been 10 plus years since i last stepped into WCP..it's like a total new place to me..it's much less crowded compared to EC..maybe partly bcoz it's not as developed as ECP ba..there's really not much things to do over there..but we saw some yatcht over there..we were wondering if we got e chance to step on a yatcht at least once in our lifetime..haha..walked ard until 11 plus before gg home..

Alot of things were going on in my mind..
I felt like i was sitting on a roller coaster..
bringing me up,and dropping me down..
I really hate this feeling..
I felt like i was in e same vicious cycle again..
I thot i might be able to step out of it,but realised i couldnt
Im back to e same point again..
Everything was nothing but jux a beautiful bubble..
It burst e moment u touched it..
E moment where it burst is where u felt e most pain
Now tt im finally out of this roller coaster
Looking back,I realised tt it was after all my own will to sit on this roller coaster..

Selamat Siang~!

Haha..this means good afternoon in indonesia language..finally my bahasa indonesia mod started class this week..it's quite a fun mod! learning a language is definitely tough,but at least it's more interesting than facing e chemical compound names and structures..haha..actually wanted to tk korean...so in love with korean language now..i guess it's bcoz i watched too much korean drama le..but e bid points was like so crazy..even if i throw all my points in i will still be outbidded..sad...maybe i shall learn it outside when i graduate and got money to learn..=) but now i shall enjoy learning my bahasa indo..im anticipating my next lesson!

On thurs i received a call from a health n fitness centre(dun tink it's nice to say their name) claiming tt i was selected to get a free 2 weeks pass,which i can use it to try out their different fitness classes, whether is it yoga,dance or kickboxing for free..i tried to recall if i got participate in any lucky draw or something but i thot of none..was quite skeptical at 1st,dunno whether it's some scam call or wat..but after tt they send me an sms informing me abt their address..i was thinking since this fitness centre was quite famous and was located at raffles place,i tink there's no harm trying my luck to go there since it's at a crowded area..and at most if it's really a scam,they will only tell me i've been scammed and told me i made a wasted trip..

And so i went ydae since i got no lesson..e good news was it's really not a scam..i really got to try their lessons for free anytime of e day for 2 weeks..e bad news was of coz it's jux their way of marketing their center and not bcoz i got this previlege from some lucky draws..e person-in-charge tried to convince me very hard to join their membership,and he was talking non-stop for half an hour saying how worth it and good it is..luckily someone called me at e right time to "save" me from his pool of saliva..haha..

An Unforgettable 21st~!

Finally..Time for updates! Bear with me yea..it's gonna be a long long post..haha..

Let's go all e way back to 25th july, e day where i saw e liverpool players in real for e 1st time! went to clarke quay with eng soon to watch them cruise past e spore river on e river taxis..lots of pple and fans were standing along e riverside cheering and screaming and waving and taking photos..when e boats went further down e river,everyone was like busy chasing after e boat..all e pple standing in front of me kept blocking my view to take photos..but luckily still managed to tk quite a few clear shots..haha..

E next day was e day i anticipated for a long time! it's e match between Singapore and Liverpool~! finally can see e players play without having to go anfield (but i still wanna go to e anfield!)...though we sat at e south stand,me and my sis chose an area near e grandstand so tt we could see e players more clearly..coz they would be there doing their warm-ups and everything..haha..got to see a few of my favs xabi alonso,fernando torres and daniel agger! sadly my no 1 fav gerrard wasnt here..e score was quite a bad 1,spore kena beaten 5-0..din expect e score to be tt bad..some pple were arguing why everyone in e stadium were supporting liverpool and not spore..e reason was very simple:we paid so much money for e tics was precisely bcoz we wanted to support liverpool and watched them play..haha..

On e 1st august was my 21st birthday party! my very 1st time organising a party..felt rather nervous but excited..coz dunno how e party will be like..haha..

Went to check in at 3 plus,and surprisingly nazeer and grace was already there even earlier than me..xuemei and jieying arrived shortly at 4 plus,and they surprised me with e helium balloons and e collage they made! was so touched at tt time sia..e 4 of them helped me with e decorations of e place..really thanx alot!=)

Around 6 plus frenz started arriving..been busy walking around and taking turns to chat with diff groups of frenz..organising a party was really not easy! din even really have e time to eat..ard 9 plus started cake cutting..dunno y my mind was totally blanked out at tt moment of time..maybe im super not used to being e centre of attraction where so many pple were looking at me at e same time..thot everything went smoothly..it was until when i was serving e cake den i realised i forgot to take photo with my uni buddies! Wat a damn blur queen i was! maybe partly bcoz i din see them as they were standing at my blind spot so i din notice them..felt so apologetic to them..though after tt we took alot of photos with my beloved balloons,i still felt quite depressed abt it..

Anw,ard 10 plus everyone started leaving..peg,poon,wa and xuan stayed behind for awhile,and they prepared a big cup of vodka coke waiting for me to drink it after most of my frenz went off..ha..got a little drunk after tt,coz i drank it with an empty stomach..felt abit xin ku after tt coz i gt nothing to vomit out since my stomach was empty..haha..weixiang,sinda,wilson and junheng stayed over to play mahjong..wanted to play initially,but i tink im not really in a suitable state to play 1 full round..but i did play a few games when jh wanted to smoke outside,and e funny part was i helped him win back e money he lost throughout e game beforehand,despite my drunken state..lolx..i went to sleep at 6 plus in e morning after they left..

Woke up around 12 plus in e noon..it's e 2nd day of my celebration,but tt day was with my cousins and relatives..they came at ard 3 plus and we gathered to play mahjong or cards as usual..in e late afternoon we started our bbq dinner! my 4th aunt was nice to cook and bring some bee hoon for everyone,so we would have something to go with e bbq food..anw,e whole bbq was fun! at least this was 1 of e few get-togethers where most of us were present..but coz it was a sunday,e kids got to go to school and adults gt to work e next day,everyone left at ard 11..

And so my party tt took much effort to organise and plan was over in jux a blink of an eye..at least it turned out much better and fun than i expected..=) i guess tt would be my first and my last party?coz it's really quite a hassle..haha..

Last but not least..It's abt my genting trip! initially was planned to go with my s20 gals,but it failed again..me and eunice wanted to go on with it coz we wanted to really enjoy ourselves before school starts..so we went with my moe colleagues instead..though i went there N times with my family,im still as excited coz this was e 1st time i went there with my frenz..we went on e 5th aug,and when we reached there,it was raining..planned to go to some mushroom farm tt jesscan reccommended but cancelled bcoz of e weather..did some orientation and shopping instead..went to catch a movie after dinner..watched e hk show "overheard",starring louis koo and liu qing yun de...i quite like e show! but quite a sad ending...after 11 plus we went back to e hotel room to bathe and get ready to sleep..after i came out from e shower,im surprised to see them busy preparing to light e candle on a small cake they bought for me!haha..really din expect them to do so..felt rather touched..in fact i myself almost forgot tt thurs was my actual bdae,coz i felt my big day was already over after e party..haha..

We were really lucky tt e weather on e 2nd day was a good one! played at both e indoor and outdoor theme park e whole day..some rides we even rode twice..we almost completed playing all e rides,except for some kiddy rides which we skipped it..haha..at night we finally went into e casino..as expected,i was stopped by e guards for passport checking..but this time i could proudly throw my passport to him coz im at a legal age now..wahaha..we only watched how pple play coz we dunno how to play ourselves..and we din really stayed for long coz we were tired after playing e whole day and e place was really filled with cigarette smokes..felt asleep almost instantly after showering..

On e 3rd day,we woke up at 8 plus and went to resorts cafe for our buffet breakfast..did some shopping again,and we left e place at 1pm..

Really had a fun time before my sch reopens~! =D

Jux 1 hour ago i was rather excited tt i finally gt e time to do some backlog blogging..but now feel abit sianz already..haha..tt's e prob of not updating my blog regularly...

Basically my weekdays were quite monotonous...gg to work in e morning,knock off in e evening,have dinner,watch tv,sleep..ya,tt's e life tt im having right now..sounds so boring right..haha..except for 7th jul tt week where me and eunice were temporary transferred to another department to help out with e pri 1 registration..got to do some counter work at e customer service center..though this job was more challenging,tiring,and sometimes irritated,overall it's still quite fun,and it's a good experience..got to meet all e diff kinds of pple..but it's really quite tiring,coz we only got to knock off after 9(gt 1 day we worked until almost 11pm) and got to report to work at 730am e next day...anw,gt to know some new colleagues from tt department..thanx to them,they really make tt 1 week enjoyable..especially jun biao who's really good at entertaining pple..haha..

Hmmm...for e past 2 weeks,attended quite a few 21st bdae parties on weekends..poon's party at sentosa on e 4th, jeannie's repeated pattern theme party on e 5th at nsrcc, and fen's geeky party at safra jurong on e 11th...seemed like e 3 parties were located at diff parts of spore..haha..been eating and eating and eating...and ydae went to jieying's house for bbq..it's no surprise tt i gt fatter and fatter!

Soon it will be my turn to have my 21st! actually my party's location is also quite extreme,at pasir ris aranda country club..and i gt alot of things haven settle yet! oh man..organising a party really isnt easy! and i wanna slim down for my party~! HAHA! but i guess tt will be e most difficult task..haha..

I always thot tt my life now was good...it was until when u made me realised tt it's not after all..

21st birthdays!

I dunno why most of my frenz' bdaes fall on e later part of e year..jux attended 2 21st birthday parties this week..and more are coming..

Yesterday attended li dan's 21st at e cavendish park condo at buona vista area..before gg,met up with junheng and xuemei in e noon at cathay..intended to watch a movie,but for both cathay and gv at ps,there were either no movies with a decent time or e movie tixs were sold out(1 of them was of coz transformers)..so in e end we killed our time at e arcade..me and xm played e basketball throws,and our highest record was 326~!i tink tt's my highest score ever..haha..i nv once played beyond stage 2 before la..haha..other than tt,we were jux sitting 1 side watching jh playing his fav street fighter 4..

After shenglong met us,we planned to share a cab,but coincidentally gt to know tt jieying and her bf were oso at ps..so we decided to hitch a free ride from them..but we soon realised tt it's nt easy to get a free ride,coz we gt to walk damn far to jy's bf's car,which he parked in a super ulu ulu corner..=.=

At e party,i din really eat much coz i jux tightened my teeth and was too painful to eat..some of our frenz left after cake cutting,while me,xm and jy stayed ard 20 mins more before we left..coz e condo was quite in e middle of nowhere,we took ard 1 hour to finally find e bus stop at e main roads..haha..

On wed attended peg's bdae celebration at east coast Goldkist Resort(former costa sands)...met xuemei,dione and cindy at orchard after work to buy present for her..bought a DKNY watch..shared a cab to EC after buying some food and drinks..

Peg only invited her close frenz and family,so it's not really alot of pple..though wasnt really a blast,it's quite a fun celebration still..din quite rmb wat's e content,but i know i really laughed until my face ache tt night..esp tt part where we forced peg and fuming to do some pole dancing,1 was e pole while e other was e dancer..haha...i tink this will be peg's most memorable birthday ever..coz this yr fm was able to celebrate with her as a bf..felt really happy for her too..i guess tt's wat we called fate..

Happy Father's Day to my Dad and all e dads in e world~!

Today supposedly planned to have dim sum breakfast as a way to celebrate Father's Day..but due to some reasons,we decided to call it off..so we jux went to Bt Merah central to have a simple breakfast and went to e supermarket..sounds kiddish,but i do love gg to e supermarket,esp those big ones!dun ask me why,coz i oso dunno myself..haha..i always like to volunteer myself if my mum said she wanna go to e supermarket..e only thing i dun like is to carry those heavy stuff,if we are not driving..haha..anw,we went home after tt,and my dad went out awhile later..so we din manage to celebrate father's day AGAIN...

Yesterday went for a haircut at far east with xuemei..wanna tried a new salon,so went to e salon tt xm usually go to..got to know her hairdresser,and he really looks quite alot like xiao zhu! xm already told me b4 tt,and i was wondering how look alike he was..surprisingly it's like 70% alike(at least to me..)..haha..anw,by e time we reached and waited for "xiao zhu" to arrive,it's already abt 4..not long after, when he was jux abt to make his 1st cut on xm's hair,there's a sudden blackout..and e weird thing was tt e salon was e only one affected..luckily he din cut her hair halfway,i was thinking wat if he gt a fright and accidentally cut wrongly..haha..e lights were back abt 20 mins later..

After waiting for 2 hrs for him to finish cutting xm's hair,it's finally my turn to cut my hair..I decided to cut bangs again! e last time i cut bangs was like abt 1 yr ago..initially after cutting,it looked damn weird to me..even tt xiao zhu also keep am-chio...but after he trimmed again it looked more and more ok to me le..after awhile i gt used to it le i guess..anw,while mine took only half an hr,xm's nd to tk at least 6 hrs coz she nd to cut,rebond and colour..in e end,we entered e salon at 350,and we left at 1030..at tt timing almost all e food stalls and restaurants were closed,so we settled our dinner(or rather supper) at kfc before we went home..

This week 3 new colleagues came to join us-joan,winnie and joo fang..they were frenz of huey hui..our group of temp staff became slightly more crowded,from 6 of us become 9 of us..haha..good in a way tt we gt more pple to talk to,and can keep one another more awake when doing some boring stuff..but e bad pt is our chat volume might increase again..haha..

Sprained my leg for e 1st time!

Last fri met up with pat,jaz,ah man and rainbow for dinner cum celebrating rainbow's belated bdae..initially planned to go have crystal jade buffet at holland v..but i suddenly remembered i had a bad diarrheoa jux 1 week ago..and if i really have buffet again,i wondered how damaging it would be to my digestive system..so decided to change to raffles city..while walking from suntec to raffles city,suddenly felt abit of pain at my left foot,and as i walked further,e pain became more excruciating,to e extent i got to 一拐一拐地走...finally reached raffles city but got to walk a few rounds before i found e restaurant 'Aerins'..e others already reached and settled down there..

E ambience was not too bad,and e food was ok...after e main course me,ah man and rainbow went for their desserts..i liked their chocolate fudge cake! it's quite sinful but delicious..haha..

After dinner planned to go Timbre,but e queue was rather long..so we walked to starbucks at cathay to chill instead..my frenz were understanding as to follow my pace of walking coz of my foot..really appreciated..at e cathay,we saw some pple already queueing up waiting for e Singapore Idol audition to start,and e audition starts on e next day..well,typical singaporeans..anw,we chatted and played around at starbucks until we forgot e time..i managed to catch e last bus,so did ah man..but i tink e others din manage to,and got to tk a cab or ask some1 to fetch them..

E next morning i told my mum abt my foot,and she said i might have sprained it without me realizing..haha..and so i applied some lotion on my whole left foot,coz i dunno which part of my foot was sprained as there was no swelling..but at night,when i wanna go and bathe,i realised part of my left foot was so red and swollen~!really freaks me out! luckily it's not tt serious..e swelling only subsided today,though i still really cant bend my foot..but at least i can walk normally now..haha..

Happy Birthday to my mum and sze hui~!

Yupz..today sze turned 21 while my mum turned 4X(age always becomes a secret as 1 gets older..haha..)

On thurs my dad treated our family to a dinner buffet near clementi in a way to celebrate both my sis and mum's bdae..coz both of their bdaes fall at e end of may,so usually our family will jux celebrate both bdaes in a day(it's e same for e rest of my family members since our bdaes all fall on aug)..anw,my dad came to fetch me from work before we went together..e food there was okay..though some of their seafood not tt fresh,at least they neither had a weird taste nor turn bad..and at least my fav salmon sashimi were quite fresh! and so e most tt i ate was e sashimi! plus my dad took quite alot,and my family couldnt really finish them,in order not to waste them,i almost finish them off..haha..we stayed until 9 plus before we went home,with each of our stomachs almost filled to e brim..

E nightmare came e next day after e dinner..while i was preparing to go to work,suddenly my stomach started to ache..i thot it might jux be bcoz i ate too much e previous day,and it would go away after doing big business for once or twice..BUT IT DIDN'T..e pain din go away and i had to keep running to e toilet,and i gt no choice but to skip work..after eating e "bao ji wan"(e pills tt we usually ate during stomach upsets),felt better and so i went to work in e noon..felt famished so went to buy a bun at e canteen,but turned out to be e wrong move..my diarrhoea came back shortly after tt..started to feel better again after another few trips to e toilet..but after i ate dinner at home,it came back again..ate another bottle of bao ji wan before i slept,and soon after i finished eating,i realised tt e bottle of pills had already expired..=.=

From midnight till e next morning,my diarrhoea din stop at all..was awakened by my stomachache a few times and had to catch some sleep in e toilet..=( finally in e morning my mum asked me to eat "charcoal",a pill tt could stop diarrhoea more effectively..initially was very reluctant,bcoz i still rmb clearly e last time i ate this pill,it was so potent tt i gt serious constipation instead..and i sweared tt i would nv eat those pills again..but at tt moment of time,bo bian i gt to tk back my words and eat it!

Luckily managed to recover on time to go to sze's party! was held at Essential Brews at Holland V..e ambience was not too bad,e only bad thing was tt we gt to sit on e floor,so my legs gt cramped every now and then..haha..e food was not bad and were free flow..i liked 1 of e buns with cheese and mushroom fillings..lolx..e cake of e day was oreo ice-cream cake,and it was rather delicious!but sadly i couldnt eat much coz i was afraid my diarrheoa came back again..haha..at e end before we left,weijie went to da bao some chicken chop which were gg to be cleared away..though i tink they were jux joking ard,e scene was rather funny,coz all of our class pple and some service crews were like starring at him packing them into a container..haha..

Anw,thanx sze for inviting us! had quite a fun time ydae..and hope u liked e unique presents we prepared for u~! heez..=P

Finally got some time to update le..been wanting to update during weekdays but i always fail to do so..coz im always feeling super tired after work on weekdays..sometimes i can even fall asleep while watching tv,in which i usually wun..actually i already started working 2 weeks ago,jux 1 week after my exams..din really have much time to enjoy myself before i started work..haha..but since im offered a job,might as well start work early and earn more money..wahaha..i wanna earn more money to go overseas~! =P

And Liverpool is coming to Singapore~! Im sooooo excited!! Cant wait for 26th july to come..but im still kinda considering whether i wanna go anot..coz e tics is quite ex($88)..but i really wanna go and watch,coz it's a rare opportunity to watch them play,esp stevie~! of coz it's much much better to watch them play at Anfield(tt's 1 of my wishes!!),but while im still saving up money to travel to Anfield,im jux as contented to watch them play here..and now since im working,at least i still can afford e tics..haha..dennes suggested gg bkk to watch,coz e tics there is much cheaper and can at e same time go there for a holiday..sounds a rather good suggestion,coz i have been wanting to go bkk for a long time! but bcoz of this stupid H1N1 virus thingy,dunno if im allowed to go anot..so sianz..

Okie..tink i got to end here le..got to prepare to go my aunt's house..it's really been a long time since i last visited my grandma..=)

Yea~! My exams are finally over~! Yea yea yea...=P

My last paper ended on tues afternn..felt a sense of relief tt my stressful days are over for e moment,for 3 months at least..haha..it's really frustrating at how stress can do to u-eye bags,dark eye circles,pimples and even hair drop~! grrr..e rate of hair drop really freaks me out! my hair's already so little and now it's even more pathetic! maybe it's time to go for some hair treatment soon..=(

Felt so relaxed even though im only rotting at home for e past few days..e feeling of "wat shld i do next?" or "wat shld i do now?" was quite awesome actually,but of coz after a long while it will be quite sianz..on thurs i baked a cheesecake for my mum as a simple cake for mother's day..though nothing surprising,at least it's filled with my sincerity by making it myself..haha..

And ydae i went to shop at orchard with pat..tt's e 2nd time i went to town for shopping within a week..haha..i jux realised my total spending for e 2 trips was over $100~! but it feels really great..im not really a shopaholic ok,jux tt able to spend some money to pamper myself once in a while felt rather shiok..at least tt's wat i tink..heez..and im starting work next week,so i will be able to earn back wat i spent..haha..anw,on tt day saw mediacorp artist Ivy Lee shopping alone..quite pei fu her actually,coz she could jux shop alone when she's pregnant and her tummy is already very big..Ard 4 plus accompany pat to go jp's chapter 2 for a haircut..tt chapter 2 branch surprisingly got quite a few shuai ges...it's really very rare to see so many of them in a single salon..lolx..among 4 guys in e salon,3 of them are shuai de lorz..hahaha...

Today other than gg out for breakfast and praying at Guan Yin temple since today is vesak day,spent e rest of e afternoon nua-ing at home..okie..got to go out for dinner maybe cum Mother's day celebration le...=)

My 2nd granduncle passed away..

This evening jux received a message from my 4th uncle, mentioning tt my 2nd granduncle had jux passed away in e late afternoon today..only a few days ago my mum told me tt he suffered from lung cancer,and it's already at e last stage..e doc said tt he got another 3-6 months to live,but he jux left after being diagnosed in less than a month..it's quite sudden actually,coz about 1-2 days ago when some of my relatives went to visit him,he's still able to talk to them quite well...

Maybe like wat my mum said,"chang tong bu ru duan tong",perhaps it's better this way,coz at least he wun have to suffer so much..

My mum also tink tt maybe he's choosing e right time to leave..sounds rather weird,but i tink it might be true..one of his daughters,which is our aunt,works in china and flew back after receiving news about my granduncle being hospitalised..she has to fly back to china a few days later after today..maybe he wanted my aunt,and their whole family,to be able to see him for e last time before she goes back to china,and she wun have to travel to and fro..maybe he dun wan his daughter to feel too sad abt not being able to see him for e last time if she went back to china and couldnt come back in time to see his father for e last time...a loving dad still cares about his children even before he left..it really tells us tt parents do care about their children always no matter where and when..

ok..i better stop here before i start crying..anw,it's jux a simple message to all: cherish your family members while u can bcoz they are e ones who love u e most,no matter wat happens..maybe they dunno how to express their love for u,or maybe they dun show their care and concern for u in e ways tt u tink they shld,but tt doesnt mean they dun love u..

Rest in peace,granduncle..we will miss you..

Exams time...

Finally can take a slight breather today..from sat till today i got 1 paper each day(excluding sun of coz)...it's so hectic~! and all e 3 papers are my core modules,so my brain was really flooded with nth but chemistry..haha...barely slept abt 1 hour each night..thanx to a cup of tea every morning,i managed to survive these sleepless days..but i guess my teeth are gg to be stained like mad,and it's esp bad for someone who's wearing braces..lolx..

Really very stressed up during these 2 weeks..all my core modules all crammed up together,and it's very hard to balance e time to study all 3 sufficiently...and esp my organic chem needs really alot of time to understand and memorize all e reactions and mechanisms..and e fact tt i dun understand most of them doesnt make it better,not to say memorizing them..i still went to watch star awards on sun night,even though my org paper was on mon..din wanna watch it at 1st,but im jux too frustrated starring at my own notes yet they were like total strangers to me..and so i lost to e temptation of watching..haha..

3 papers down and 2 more to go...e other 2 were mcqs,but they werent be easy i tink..my ss module gt negative marking and my mid-terms were already affected by it..for e other gem mod,their qns were always very tricky,and 100 qns in 2 hrs means i gt to do abt 1 qn per min! anw,e other 2 papers are on next mon and tues,hope i have enough time to study..

Today is such a hot and humid day~! cannot stand this kind of weather...makes me so sweaty and sticky all over even though i jux sit still in front of e computer..this kind of weather also makes my mood swings easily..super sian..anw,stayed at home to do my own school stuff..got 1 essay due on thurs and i haven even started! as usual i dun do school stuff wholeheartedly when a com is needed..watched online drama when doing my research..haha..always wanted to kick this bad habit of mine but i jux resist e temptation..but of coz when it comes to last min chiong-ing,it will be a different case le..

This week was considered free as compared to last week..last week was really a hectic week with hardly any proper sleep..thot could finally take a lil break this week..in e end it wasnt any better,coz it was a depressing week for me..jux got back my ss mod result,and i din do well for e 2nd test..already screwed up e 1st test,and now e 2nd too..e more depressing thing was tt i thot i would have done quite well,but in e end i din..really really disappointed at myself..=(

Nvm..wat's e point of moaning over it now..e only thing i can do now is to buck up and study hard for e coming exams..

Ok..enough about school stuff..hmmm..recently a few of my frenz kept saying i changed alot after looking at e photos i uploaded on facebook a week ago..but actually i din..it's jux tt i went to e laneige fair last fri for some simple makeover..i began to understand e wonders of a heavy make up..it's e same rationale for some actresses,bcoz we always see them wearing thick makeup all e time on tv,tt's why when we see their real looks w/o makeup,we got a shock at e difference sometimes..haha..

So do i really look different after e makeover? haha..

Last sun went with my relatives to "shao mu"-praying ancestors..as wat we did every year,we booked a bus and went to e Mandai crematorium together..e good thing is tt we dun hav to find parking lots as finding parking lots over there is jux so difficult,but e bad thing is tt we seem so kua zhang as to travel there by private bus..haha..normally we always went there after e actual day of chingming,but this yr we went a week before e actual day,so it's very packed and was stuck in a jam over there..after tt went back to our house to eat lunch and some stayed to play mahjong..inhaled quite a lot of second-hand smoke,coz some of them jux like to smoke like nobody's business..urgh..hate being a second-hand smoker~! but luckily i stayed in my room e whole afternoon,so not tt bad..my poor mum and sis were outside e whole day talking to them,so i tink they had inhaled much more den me..

My whole family went to my aunt's house..i din go coz i wanna do my work..got so many things to do this week..2 full lab reports due on wed,and got to study for my tests on mon and thurs..and i jux had a sleepless night ydae coz i got to force myself to stay awake to finish studying for my test this morning..only managed to have a very short nap this afternoon..oh man,how i wish i can clone myself right now~!

Haha..kk..i tink i better focus on my lab reports..got no time to waste~!

Woo Hoo~! Liverpool is finally able to humilate man u in front of their own fans at old trafford..a 1-4 win over man u was enough to shut them up for a moment abt e title chase..even though i still think it's hard to catch up with man u and snatch e title away,at least we are able to show them tt we are not easy to be trifled with..haha..Liverpool im so proud of u~! Gerrard im so proud of u~!

On sat was my 1st time gg to chijmes to watch this dramatic showdown..met up with grace and dennes to watch it together there..initially dennes's fren also coming,but he couldnt make it at e last min..had our dinner while watching e match..anw,e atmosphere was so damn high la~! it was almost as though we were at old trafford itself..everyone cheered,boo-ed,create noises when there's any tackle or penalty,moaned when there's any near misses..and even sang e "you'll never walk alone" song by e pool hardcore fans whose camping at Harry's cafe,their supposed "home ground"..it's a really great place to watch such a big match~!

When e match ended and we were walking towards e exit,a service crew patted on dennes's shoulders and actually told him, "you are dangerous over here." coz he was wearing e man u jersey and near e exit it was dominated by liverpool fans..lolx! and we also saw jamie yeo walking past us..i tink she looks prettier in real person..

On tt morning,went to Bt merah with my mum and bro for breakfast..coz my dad was working so we had to travel there ourselves..got to eat my fav fried fish bee hoon..haha..shiok..after tt we went to ntuc,and we bought so many things unknowingly until we only realise when e 3 of us each got to carry alot of things..and we got to carry all these things and went home by bus..luckily we lived quite near..haha..

Today my dad needs to work,so we din went out for breakfast and hence we could sleep until 10 plus..=)

This morning ordered pizza as our brunch..coz pizza hut got e 2 for $19.90 hot deal so we decided to try it..at 1st we were quite sceptical of e "HOT" sticker which will change from a back screen to a "HOT" word..but e delivery man will prove to us 1st before gg off..and we tried using normal tap water to test e sticker,indeed e sticker turned to black again..haha..abit bo liao but quite funny also..but even if without e sticker we also know tt it's hot coz we could feel it when we were holding it..

Another weekend is gg to end soon..luckily there's no test this week,can become slightly less tense abit..haha..okie..time to chiong my report again!

It really hurts when u expect too much from someone and in e end u end up disappointed..it really do..even though it's not right to impose our expectations on someone bcoz it isn't up to us to control or decide what he/she is thinking,somehow or rather,one will still do so unconsciously even if u may be hurt many times..

My recess week jux zoomed past in a blink of an eye and school reopened again this week..i especially dread sch reopen this time not bcoz i dun like attending lecs, but there was an organic test waiting for me on thurs,and to make it worse,it was not open-book and i got another SS (Spore Studies,not social studies..haha) test on thurs too,which has negative marking,but luckily this is open-book..

It is jux so UNfair~! coz e batch of students taking org last sem had an open-book exam,while we have a close-book 1..this means we gt to memorize:

-ALL e reactions (including reagents and conditions,when and what to use to get diff compounds)
-ALL e reaction mechanisms
-MOST of e structures for org compounds

And sadly speaking,i suppose my brain isnt tt huge enough to contain all these stuff..

Anw,i tink i screwed up my org test, though i almost sacrificed my sleep for this test..well,not suprising..but i hope e others din do very well too..not tt im evil, jux tt if every1 screwed up,den we can have moderation..haha..

I got a mild consolation on tt bad day though..my grade for 1 of my core mods from last sem was up by 1 grade~! Happy Happie Happy~! coz this means my CAPS will increase! another step nearer to my aim..=)

Finally did some exercise again..my aerobics lesson resumed ydae..got a mild muscle-ache today,maybe coz i too long nv had vigorous exercise liaoz..actually i quite like exercising,i always feel good after exercising,jux tt im always lazy..during e recess week i always promised myself to go jogging,but in e end i din..and worse still,i had 2 buffets (Sakae and "Lao Bei Jing") during tt week~! it's obvious tt my intake was MUCH more than my output..

Okie..time for some short backlog:

Last thurs went to e new Jurong point to walk around..heard from quite a few pple tt it's very big,almost as big as vivo..indeed it was,but i tink e orientation was better than vivo's,at least i wun get lost at jp..and there's alot of finger food and dining restaturants now..at least got another choice of place when deciding venue for dinner..oh ya..saw weijie (Stephen) shopping with some1 and also saw e "chor chor" (from little nyonya) walking ard alone,looking as if she's looking for some1..

Last sat me and my sis went to e spore museum coz she got e free entry tics from e recent plan by e govt to attract local tourists (i dunno if there's a name for tt plan =X)..it's been a decade since i last stepped into e museum! and of coz there's a drastic change as compared to last time..thot it would be very boring,but unexpectedly it wasnt too bad..and it's kinda diff experience from last time..e last time i went was during pri school days,whereby we had heritage tour to e museum,and we were so excited coz it's a new place to explore(at tt time)..now i felt more like a local tourist,which felt abit funny actually..haha..halfway i went to meet up with grace for some facial workshop before gg back to complete e journey..

Suddenly feel like blogging..though i got nothing much to blog about..

My honeymoon period in school was over,now back to my 4hrs sleep per weekday routine..got to do my lab report(s) per week AGAIN,which i hated e most..coz it's always e lab reports tt cause me to be deprived of enough sleep,especially when e lab report is gg to be due e next day! jux last tue night i only slept for 3 hrs and on wed night i only slept for less than 2 hrs..less than 5 hrs of sleep for 2 consecutive nights, it's not hard to imagine how shagged i was on thurs when i had to spend almost e whole day in school..

And i guess this is gg to be e same for almost every week..ARGH~!

Anw,i finally got to play mahjong last sat! din really have any celebrations on V day,so went to my sis's fren's house to play..my hands had been itching for quite some time aready..haha..skills got a little rusty,coz it's really been a long time since i last played..but got e hang of it after a few rounds..din play any money,coz my sis's fren jux learnt how to play and she was afraid to gamble..but good for me oso,coz im a little too broke to gamble..haha..

My dad came back from China on sun..he bought back quite a few stuff,for us as well as himself..he bought some jerseys back,chelsea for my sis and liverpool for me..but mine was too big for me,more like a pyjamas rather than a jersey..haha..oh well,i can jux wear it at home when there's a pool game..haha..

Okie..time for me to stop rotting and go study for my test on thurs..=)

I jux realised tt i forgot to post this up until ydae..haha..but i shall post it anw..=)

This year's new year seems to pass by esp fast,though nothing interesting happened during this period..our next public holiday seem quite far away,it's in apr if im not wrong..but luckily another 2 weeks more will be my recess week..so fast huh..wahaha..

Last weekend i was still in e new year mood..on sat went to my aunt's house to celebrate "ren ri",though e exact day was actually on e sun..by our tradition,we ate something called "pok chan" during every year's ren ri..played sparklers with my cousins and my cousins' kids..e guys tried to play with those sparklers tt produce a loud sound when lighted initially..and of coz,all e girls including me hate it,coz it was so deafening and dangerous! e kids seem to hate it too and always ran away when e sparkler sounded,but they seem to enjoy being scared..lolx..kids..

On tues night went out with grace for dinner and movie at bugis..we watched "e wedding game", by christopher and fann...erm,maybe my expectations for e show was too high..tt's why was a little disappointed when i watched it..but still ok i guess..at least i tink it will be much better than e jack neo show..haha..

On thurs during our 2 hr break in sch,me,jaz and pat went down to e arts fac to see if there's any bazaar to shop around..instead of a bazaar,e sch organised an international fiesta,and they showcased e diff cultures of many countries..we sampled e dragon beard candy which was made by a china chef,and tt's e 1st time i ate tt! quite tasty i tink..and we also took photos of ourselves wearing diff countries's traditional costume,FOC..was rather fun actually~! i wore e korean traditional costume while pat wore e jap 1..

At night met up with bee kuan and weixiang..it's kinda a farewell dinner with bk,who's leaving for Australia for further studies..she wanted to buy a new phone but there's no stock for e phone she wanted..and so we went for dinner and settled down at Ajitei..had loads of fun laughing and gossiping..lolx..but good times always had to come to an end..we camwhored alot while waiting for bus(we were too engrossed in taking photos until we realised tt we had missed a few buses) and on e bus..haha..

Anw,all e best in Aussie and i will miss u~!

On fri ah man came back from egypt and bought us a sovenir..i tink it's cool and i like it! =)

Happy Chinese "牛" Year everyone~!

Din really have a very happening new year..jux another year of visiting relatives whom we met almost once a year,esp those distant relatives..and e rare thing is i din gamble during e new year,though my hands are itching to play mahjong..hahaha..

Last saturday had big reunion stemboat dinner with my paternal relatives at my 4th uncle's place..ate alot this time coz i was rather hungry and e variety of food was more than before-got wonton,scallop,fish head,shabu shabu etc etc...my aunt still jokingly asked my uncle why e sudden generousness this time..kinda 话中有话..lolx..

This year happens tt e new year eve is on a sun,so we could have our reunion dinner early within our family..din have steamboat coz we had it e previous day..so my mum cooked a sumptuous dinner-stewed chicken with hoi sum and mushroom,prawns,sliced fish with XO sauce,abalone(canned) and buddha jump over e wall(also canned of coz..lolx..)..needless to say,it's damn marvellous~!

At 11 plus went to chinatown to countdown and watch firecrackers..we managed to find a good spot to watch and at e same time avoided e crowd..haha..e firecrackers this year were accompanied by many balloons and lanterns being released to e sky together..it's quite an eye-opener..tried to shou shui on tt night,but we always fail to do so every year,including this year..lolx..

On e 1st day after all e visitings with my family,went to 春到河畔 in e evening..this year's was a little disappointing coz there seemed to be less things than before..and e place seemed to be occupied with "foreigners"(u know wat i mean) and we seemed to become minorities..e only thing tt caught our attention was e firecrackers..

I ate alot of goodies every time i went visiting,despite having braces..din really put on much weight,but i can feel tt i got more fats than before~! luckily my aerobics started at e right time..ydae when i went for my lesson,i can feel my body is warning me to eat less and exercise more! =S

Updates finally~! haha..

Last week was a rather busy week..not bcoz of school coz it's kinda e honeymoon period during e 1st 2 weeks(or at least to me..lolx..)..was rather busy preparing an album for my bestie xm's 21st birthday..almost every night from tues to fri after me and jy bought our required stuff,we proceed to camp at bukit merah's mac to do e album..we stayed until 2-4am in e morning and i slept for less than 2 hrs each day coz got to wake up at 6 plus in e morning for school..really felt like some walking zombie in school sia..haha..

lxm~! u muz pay for my eye cream to treat my eye circles and pimples okie! lolx..

Bdae celebration at e Chevrons on sat.. met e usual gang at je 1st before walking there together..quite liked e chalet coz e interior looked comfy and cozy..coz there were xm's other frenz around,e few of us jux sat around together to eat and chit chat..most of us were discussing how we were gg to celebrate our own's 21st bdae..haha..

When almost everybody had left,a few of our usual clique went to e ktv,played photohunt and table soccer to spend our time..and now caused me to be fully addicted to photohunt! lolx..abt 4 am plus almost everyone were halfway stoning and napping,left only me and jh who stayed awake until there's bus for us to go home..

On e 20th after school pat went to my house while waiting for ah man to end her lesson..den we headed to bugis to shop around..in e evening after jaz met up with us at e Velocity,went to have dinner at Zhen Fa seafood buffet..treated it as our early steamboat reunion dinner..haha..luckily there wasnt alot of pple during weekdays,heard from pat tt there will be long queues during weekends..but before we left at ard 8 plus it's already almost full house..

Whenever i eat steamboat,i will always be reminded of Marina South..I really really miss there~!!! =(

Welcome to 2009~!

Hope it's not too late to say tt..after all it's already e 3rd day of e new year..haha..

Din go anywhere to countdown this time..stayed at home to watch e countdown parties,but sadly,none was exciting..but e lucky thing was tt i was able to see different fireworks from 3 locations at e same time-sentosa,mount faber and marina bay~! haha..coz they were at different angles from our house,i needed to run to and fro to watch all 3 of them..1st time watched fireworks until so busy..lolx..

Really quite suay to kena diarrheoa on e new year's day..actually not only me but my family too,except my sis..jux tt mine acted up 1st..e prob muz lie with e food tt my sis brought home e day before..i din even finish half bowl of noodles when we went out for breakfast..in e end other than hanging around chinatown area after breakfast,e only place i visited e most was my house's toilet..what a way to start my new year..haha..

This morning drove my family to Bukit Merah coz my mum wanted to stock up some new year stuff and e Fairprice over there is 1 of e biggest in my area..nearly got an accident at e carpark..while im concentrating doing my parking in a small parking lot,a van behind me jux impatiently zoom past my car without waiting for me to even enter tt lot~! lucky my dad warned me on time,otherwise i would have rammed onto e van if i nv braked on time..admit tt im quite slow coz e parking lot was really quite small and i couldnt be fast,but e van came after i positioned my car for parking..so i cant really give way for e van..sometimes really couldnt stand impatient drivers! maybe they are in a rush or something,but hello,safety first!

School is gg to reopen in abt a week's time..time to do my bidding again..another headache period~!

Going to wave goodbye to 2008 soon..how quick was that,and im gg to be 21 years old next year le!

Life is quite like a roller coaster this year,with so many ups and downs..but i tink it isnt a bad thing after all..at least i learnt and understand alot of things through not only mine but also others' experiences..at least from these i can slowly realise and explore what exactly i wan in life..at least i learnt to see e true colours of some pple..

At least my life was colourful and not monotonous..=)

It's going to be a brand new year le~! Time for my new year resolutions~! hmmm...supposedly have alot in mind..but dunno why i jux cant seem to recall alot of them..maybe im jux over-excited..hahaha..at least these are some of my priorities:

-My CAPS can continue to increase in e coming few sems
-Get at least an A- for any module(s)
-Able to travel to Hong Kong/Taiwan
-Improve my pastry-making skills
-Have more ups than downs
-To have my own "Steven Gerrard" by my side (if u know wat i mean..=P )
-Learn to cherish e pple around me

I hope,as e saying goes: a brand new year,a brand new start~!

Im enjoying every minute of my hols curently~! haha..been going out for almost everyday from e mid of last week till this christmas week! but this means e money i spent is a rather magnificent amount..oh craps! but i did enjoy myself,so i guess it's kinda worth it..haha..

Too many things to update le,but dun wanna bored every1 with all my backlog,so i shall jux update e more recent ones..photos i will upload on facebook/friendster instead of here,i hope..haha..

24th dec (christmas eve):
Was supposed to meet xm at 1 but due to her last min work,so i shopped ard bugis junction alone until she knocked off..we headed to ICA building to collect her passport,and surprisingly though it's super crowded we only waited for abt half an hr..after tt we returned back to bugis for high tea and shopping..haha..in e evening xm went to my place with me while i bathe and get changed to meet my other frenz for countdown! and again,i went back to bugis for e 3rd time in 1 day..lolx..

We parted at city hall station and i went on to meet grace,dennes and his fren jin yuan at bugis..had dinner at Swensens and e 4 of us ordered 1 ice cream log cake for dessert~! lolx..of coz we din manage to finish it..i guess we were a lil too greedy..haha..but e ice cream log cake was delicious though..we had gift exchange as well,and though we din make alot of noises,e pple sitting around us were looking at us as if we were making a big commotion..but we were still in our own world..haha

Headed to clarke quay for countdown to christmas..it was super crowded and almost every pub got long queues..decided on Lunar Bar and we had to queue for abt 20 mins before we could enter..there was live band and wat's unexpected was e bar top dancing...haha..counting down at a pub was indeed happening and high!

25th dec:
During e actual christmas day went out with my family instead..had breakfast at amoy before gg to suntec to shop for new year clothes..surprisingly there's not many pple hanging around e shopping mall,was like rather empty..but when we headed to bugis after tt,e situation was like totally diff..it was so packed there! after my bro bought his berms at bugis street,we decided to gave up squeezing with others and left..had dinner at Ajitei before we went home..another sumptuous christmas dinner..=)

26th dec:
Met my usual clique..was supposed to meet for dinner but dunno why most of e others had eaten except for me and xm..and so to budget ourselves we ate long john's..supposedly went to Arena to party,but it's kinda boring over there..so a few of us went to another club while some stayed behind..indeed it was much better,e only bad thing was tt we got to walk to and fro a few times..

After we left e place at 4 plus,we stoned around for quite some time before we decided to tk a cab down to harbour front hawker for prata breakfast..crapped alot while eating,till about 6 plus before we went separate ways for home..at least we saved our money by taking public transport instead of cab again..haha..

Coz of all these recent late night sleepings,or rather to say sleeping early in e morning,i started to have pimple breakouts~! Boo hoo! i hate pimples~!

Please make them go away~!

Slacking at home...

Hoo..2 weeks of my hols gone jux like tt..during e hols i was either slacking at home or hanging out with frenz..this kind of feeling is rather shiok actually,coz it's so damn stress-free..haha..i sooo love holidays(who doesn't anw..haha)~! previously after my exams ended,i was considering whether i shld find myself some part-time job..kinda short of money recently..but my s20 gals were right,i shld enjoy my 1 month hols well..anw,i tink no one would want to employ some1 who only wanna work for 1 month ba..

These past 3 days i had been cooping at home doing e same routine almost everyday-watch tv,gg online,eat and sleep..kinda getting bored le..so today i decided to make some brownies to eat! 1st time trying e receipe wan ting shared with me..and i liked it alot! my mum loved it too,except tt it's a little too sweet for her coz she got tooth decay..haha..promised xm before tt i will bring some for her to try,but i guess i wanna improve on it further 1st before i can present it..sorry im such a perfectionist..haha..actually i kinda have some interest in pastry-making,but it's hard to find time to prepare during my school term..and wat puts me off e most is tt i got to wash all e apparatus everytime after preparing! but seriously i still tink it's (much) more fun than gg online everyday..haha..

No photos coz i was so excited about trying and forgot all about taking photo of my masterpiece..lolx..

Managed to pack my table too..but everytime i saw my test papers i shudder at e thot of getting back my results..hope i can pass all my mods sia..im contented enough..

Ok..i shld stop tinking about them for e moment and concentrate on enjoying my hols..haha..

Finally after slacking at home for e past few days,i got activities for e rest of e week~! cant wait for them to come..hehe..

Genting trip

Last sun went to Genting with my family..dunno why my father bought tickets for a VIP bus but in e end we were surprised to see we were taking a super VIP bus..e seat was super comfy,like a couch..haha..there was a tv set for every seat with movies and those childhood cyber games,but we din really touch it..coz we set off at night,so sleep was of coz more impt,by e time we reached it's already 5 plus gg 6 in e mon morning.. it was freezing cold in e early morning,and it's raining..it's so comfy to have a cup of tea to warm our bodies during breakfast..=)

I tink we were rather suay because e whole of monday it was raining non-stop~!we din even get e chance to go to e outdoor theme park..super sadded! we were deterred from our major entertainment after travelling such long hours on e bus..boo hoo! and e indoor ones were so damn crowded,even those kiddy rides teens and adults were queueing for them..how desperate was tt..so in e end we jux shopped ard and ate alot..we caught a movie as well..e movie tix there were damn cheap,only 11 ringit per tix..e funny thing is they even offer osim chairs in theatres,but even so e tics still cost lower than in spore..lolx..and of coz i nv got into e casino bcoz im still underage..din tried my luck to enter coz i still rmb e embarressing moment 2 yrs back when im kena checked and chased out..

It's ok if we din get e chance to play on mon..but wat im angry abt was tt it was super sunny e next day! and e prob is we were already departing..oh man..but at least i got a little consolation when it started to drizzle when we were on our way downhill..*oops..=P

On wed accompanied my mum and sis to Paragon to collect some member card..but before tt went back school with my sis to print her confirmation letter online coz our house printer is spoilt..did some shopping,and surprisingly there's nth much to buy..but im still able to buy a bag though..lolx..

Thurs night i finally got to meet my old pal bee kuan~! we had nv met up again since we graduated from our sec sch..we really got soooo much things to catch up coz we had nv been really in contact for 5 years already..haha..and we realised tt we had been frenz for 10 years le! but too bad she's leaving for further studies in australia soon..suddenly felt a little she bu de..=(

My exams are finally over~!

Yay~! My exams were finally over..after such a long wait~! 4 papers in 5 days,really tough to study evenly for all e papers..and i dunno why im not really focused while studying,kept feeling restless easily..really sianz to e core..though im so relieved tt they are over,i knew tt my papers were done quite badly..dunno it's bcoz im not well prepared at all or e papers were really tough or both..im not so anticipating e day when im gg to retrieve my results to come...=(

Whatever e case,before e day comes,i shall fully enjoy myself 1st~!

On tue,after my last paper ended at 3 plus,ah man and pat accompanied me to return a book at e lib and retrieved our lab reports before heading home..threw my papers aside and took a small breather,went down to Marina Sq to meet my s20 girls for dinner to celebrate amanda's birthday..felt abit heavy-hearted due to my badly done inorganic paper in e noon,but dinner with them brightens me up..thanx gals~~

Had dinner at Waraku Restaurant,thanx to Sze for reserving early..at least we dun hav to roam ard looking for any restaurant tt has e shortest queue during e dinner "peak hour"..haha..among e 7 of us (sadly not full strength this time coz min couldn make it last min),some shared a set meal while e others ordered for individual food..we ate and chatted from 7 till 9 plus..yes,our topics were endless..haha..

I tried to post some photos here,but they kept giving me errors..sorry tt i gave up posting photos le..heez..

Wed decided to stay at home e whole day coz my headache had not subsided since e previous day..my usual headache tt always acts up during exam periods..=.= dunno why this time it was more serious..on tue somehow i felt tt i nearly blackout while walking..abit scary sia..maybe it's due to lack of sleep i guess..felt a lil apologetic for pangseh-ing my fren..Sorry abt tt..

And for ydae and today,no meeting up with frenz and so slacked at home and tried to finish watching my dramas series tt i watched halfway..but of coz i can never finish coz i got never-ending series to watch..lolx!

Felt that this sem seems to pass by rather fast..maybe it's bcoz of e busy schedule tt we had-more tests to prepare,tougher topics to study for,and more reports to do..my last week of school for yr 2 1st sem was rather hectic: 4 tests plus 2 reports really kept me busy for almost 2 whole weeks..

Hmmm..finally my study week is here..got time to enjoy myself abit before i start mugging for my exams..heez..

Yesterday went to tighten my braces..thot it will be very pain,but luckily still quite bearable..after tt me and my mum went to Bedok to do some shopping before we went home in e evening..anw,something interesting happened..while we were walking to e hawker center,there's a guy beside my mum kept wanting to hold my mum's hand..my mum already moved away hers but tt guy kept searching for her hand..when e guy turned to look at her,he realised tt he's holding e wrong hand,coz his intention was to hold his gf's,who is behind my mum~! tt guy felt so embarressed and apologised..and his gf kept laughing her head off behind..even i can sense how paiseh e guy is feeling..lolx..

Saturday morning went to raffles for work..e tuition center tt i worked at in e past got some award ceremony for e kids,so i went to help out..it's unexpectedly fun helping out with this kind of ceremony,after all it's my first time..and me myself felt so proud of these kids who had such great acheivements, not to say their parents and family members..having to see those familiar cute faces really made my day..after e ceremony ended,me and my colleagues went around to tk photos with e kids..some were really "dao",but others were really cute! sadly i dun have e photos with me right now..anw,some other random photos tt i took before e ceremony started.

After tt went home to rest awhile 1st before heading to ms to meet ronnie..nearly overslept when i was resting on e sofa..lolx..luckily my sis woke me up,if not i would be kena scolded i guess..we had dinner at Kenny Rogers and watched mr bond movie..i quite like tt movie.. and Daniel Craig was so macho and suave~! though being e bond girl was always in such a dangerous situation, e feeling of being saved by mr bond makes e whole situation felt so worth it..haha..sound so sadist..

Friday after sch went to e food fare with my mum..though it's only e 1st day,and it's a weekday,it was like so damn crowded..some kiasu aunties were like pushing one another to sample e food -.-..and my feet were always in a very critical situation of being stepped by someone..anw,we really bought loads of frozen stuff-calamari,fillets,those foreign hotdogs and many more things that we may not see in e supermarket currently and at a much cheaper price also..also bought some puffs home to eat as dinner..in e end,when we reached home,we were stunned to realise tt we actually spent over $80..haha..

These few days really slack to e core sia..felt so guilty tt i din even touch my studies at all..merely re-organising all my notes..hmmm..hope tml i could do some constructive studying in sch..=)

Yupz..lack of updates again...not exactly very busy,but jux tt there's nothing much to blog about..jux sch sch and sch...basically it's jux weekly routine..haha..

But e good thing is i got no tests last week and e coming week..finally can take a small breather..currently my time was devoted to my essay..min 5000 words needed to be completed by me and ah man..defnitely no easy feat,esp when my eng is so so lousy..but felt small sense of accomplishment when it's about 3/4 completed..hehe..

Somehow having no tests within 2 consecutive weeks doesnt always mean good news..coz 2 weeks later i got tests and assignment datelines everyday! ya..nothing to be surprised about..tt's uni life..sometimes u will have a super long time for u to slack until u rot,and suddenly e following week all e tests jux flood ur head until it swells..maybe for some,it's good coz they got more time to study and prepare..but not exactly for me,coz im those who will only hug buddha legs at e last min..cant imagine im going to burn midnight oils every night during e last week of sch..crap..

Sorry if i bore u pple with my sch stuff..but tt's basically how my days were spent..ok,let's talk about something else...

I jux went for another extraction during wed! another 2 teeth gone..this time e pain was more tolerable,din eat any painkillers to soothe it..initially tempted to eat 1,but in e end i still decided to bear with it..now im seriously bo gae..sometimes having difficulties biting the food with 4 holes in my mouth..using less teeth to bite something relatively hard makes my mouth ache easily..=.= but im still quite excited and anticipating to see improvements in my teeth! Ha..sounds like some saddist here..

Suddenly i miss Subway and Bubble Tea! When can i eat and drink them again?

Extraction!

Yesterday initially dun have to go to school at 8am in e morning de..but bcoz i skipped e tutorial on tues, which is my supposed tut slot, i decided to make up for it due to guilt..and sadly there were no more available slots except fri morning..yea,tt's my retribution for skipping mine..

There's actually a tut for another module in e afternoon..but i decided to skip it-one reason is bcoz i got dental appt in e noon and i dun wan to be late,e other is bcoz i always din manage to absorb anything from e tut,so i guess whether im absent or present for e tut dun make a diff..initially hesitating whether to skip it or not,but manying's decision not to go affirm my decision to skip it too..heez..

In e afternoon,had lunch with my mum before she accompanied me to e dental clinic for extraction of my teeth! actually quite anticipated for this moment..dun misunderstand-im not being saddistic! jux tt e thot tt im going to see an improvement in my teeth makes me rather excited.. i thot e doc was going to extract one only..but he's going to pluck 2 at a time~! suddenly felt so scared when i saw e jab..

Everything jux ended in a few minutes..felt like nothing much happened..but when i got home and e anesthetic effect wore off,e pain became more and more excruciating till i had to eat panadol to reduce e pain..and surprisingly,i din even feel hungry for e rest of e day even though i only had lunch at 1 plus..maybe i got no appetite at all ba..

Today stayed at home for e whole day..wanted to take e chance to chill at home,but i realised i couldnt! got piles of work to do-essay,lab report,study for e coming test on mon..sobx! =( but fortunately my mouth's no longer pain le..so tt i can concentrate(i hope)..hee..

Today went to my aunt's house to visit my grandma..realised tt it's been quite a long time since i last saw her le..she seemed to be growing more skinny..abit heartpain..she dun really recognise us now,but she do rmb some of e names of our relatives..when she saw us,she kept asking us who we were,and kept saying out those names tt she rmb,like some guessing game..though a little funny,it's a little sad at e same time...

Yesterday after lec stayed in school to do project..at first got quite abit of idea and thot it would be quite smooth..but as we went on we were slowly stuck here and there..stayed until 2 plus before me and ah man went separated ways for our own activities..i went home to tk a rest and have my dinner 1st before gg to imm to meet my s20 gals..had my dinner at home 1st so tt i dun have to eat until so xin ku outside..they decided on Ajitsen for dinner,and i ordered a mango ice with some ice-cream topping..it's a little weird eating a dessert while every1 was eating ramen..and joo ordered e iconic volcano ramen which was super tempting..ahhh!! i miss e spiciness in my mouth~!

We started chatting from e time we settled down till e dinner crowd slowly subsided and eventually e time when e service crew came asking us for any last orders..haha..e 8 of us really had endless topics to talk abt..me and joo received our belated birthday presents-joo received cosmetics while i was given a bag =)..before we left,we wanted to tk some photos..asked e service crews to do us this favor,but in e end each of them said they got no skills in taking photo and kept pushing it to one another...=.= we tried to take 1 ourselves but e angle made joo looked like some giant in e photo..lolx..finally 1 of them managed to help us..hmmm..too bad e photos are not with me..

I really had an enjoyable time with u gals..Thanx for e present~! really appreciated it..*Hugz* =)

Today skipped my gek lec and tut and accompanied my mum for some check up in e morning..after tt went to have brunch at subway before gg for my dental appointment...

I started putting on braces le!

My case is rather complicated actually..more than jux because my teeth looks crooked..in fact my teeth looks ok at 1st glance..im abit lazy to explain my case all over again here..but put it simply,i can say tt i actually have this problem with me all e time,but during e past 20 years,i thot it was normal for everyone~! =X

Suddenly have this metal thingy in my mouth makes me super uncomfortable..talking,eating and brushing teeth are so restricted now..still trying to get used to it..and also trying to get used to my "new" look..haha..e saddest thing of all is tt i got to eat less or even better(or shld i say worse) still,to stop eating certain food tt i love during this period of time......

Mon was my last day of work at e tuition center...had quite abit of mixed feelings..sad was because i got no more income le..happy was because i can have more time for myself and to concentrate on my studies..hmmm..though e job scope abit sian and e pay was not alot,sometimes it's still quite enjoyable working there..able to interact with different kids..and i know tt teaching was really not easy and not my cup of tea..haha..

Really hate it when i din update for ages..coz my backlog will be accumulating like mad..and i will have to spend a long time recalling wat happen..

Though last week was my reccess week, it din serve as 1 for me..only managed to do abit of my work and for e rest of e days i was down with a fever..regretted procrastinating too much during e 1st few days of hols..during e sick period i was either sleeping,stoning or watching tv..it was only until sat night den i started rushing all my reports and preparing for my mid term tests despite having a flu..jux realised tt recently e flu bug was affecting alot of pple..pple ard me were either sick or down with a flu..

Beware and tk good care of yourselves pple..dun let e flu bug come to u..=)

Anw,i got a chance to watch e F1 initially..but due to some rather ridiculous reason (dun wish to mention coz it will only remind me of it =S ) and my sick condition, i was deprived of this chance..uber sadded can~! but i still caught it on tv anw,and seriously speaking,i thot this was 1 of e most dramatic and exciting F1 i've ever watched~! if only Michael Schumacher was here..but Kimi Raikkonen was not bad too..haha..it was kinda disappointing to see Ferrari ending up e big loser here..but this actually made F1 even more exciting..hehe..

Last tues went to vivo to celebrate melissa's belated birthday..went to HK Kim Gary for dinner,but e food dun turned out to be wat i expected..maybe my expectations for e food over there were too high coz i heard some good comments from some pple..but i quite like their seaweed fries though..and i managed to notice 1 shuai ge over there..so not too bad..hahaha...they planned to go st james after tt..initially dun really wan to go coz i got 2 papers on thurs..

BUT.........

I dun hav to say it out,do i?ha.. i really tink i got no self discipline at all..and i regretted a bit e next day..really got to pia 2 modules until mad..even sacrificed my sleep jux to study..hmmm...i hope i really learnt my lesson now..

Yeah~! My reccess week is finally here~! can take a small breather for awhile..but this also tells me that my mid term tests are coming soon..sobx~!

Really enjoyed my last weekend before starting to get serious in my studies..

Last saturday went shopping at chinatown and marina area with my mum and sis..had dim sum at chinatown as our brunch 1st..and it was damn delicious can~! i especially liked e char siew bun..marvellous sia~! after tt we shopped all e way until evening,and we bought alot of things-from clothes to perfumes to shoes..haha..and my poor mum got to carry everything home for us..coz both my sis and i got activities after tt..while my sis was meeting up with her frenz,i went to wx's house for mahjong..initially planned to jux play until 1 plus..but bu zhi bu jue played until 4am in e morning~! and e most sickening part of e day was coz i was cashless,so wanted to paid by nets..in e end it cannot be approved! tried many times but still failed..craps! in e end gt to rush back home and take money down for e driver..=/

Slept at 5am but got to wake up at 11am for my cousin's housewarming cum my cousin's son's 1 year old birthday celebration..their house though not very spacious but it's rather cozy..i quite like it..e only bad thing is their house looks rather dark without lights on even during e day..anw,they ordered catering services,and surprisingly e food was better than i thot..stayed until 3 plus before i headed to cck for patty's 21st birthday party..suggested to ch,ah man and jazreel to meet at 4 but in e end im e last to arrive..*oops..

Sorry to sound so "sua gu", but tt day was my 1st time taking LRT! coz e area im living in has no such tranportation..haha..damn excited,but sadly e ride wasnt a pleasant 1 coz e train was always so packed..arrived at patty's house at ard 5..we sat around and ate e food tt her mum prepared for her party..e food was not bad,but i nv ate much coz i tink i ate too much at my cousin's..nevertheless,e chicken wing over there was really very tempting..haha..

e 4 of us chatted while waiting for e cutting cake session..patty attempted some matchmaking session,but in e end turned out abit awkward..we waited until 8 plus before e cutting cake session started..after eating e cake we were e earliest to leave her house coz jazreel got to travel a long way back to her home..

This afternoon went to school with manying for consultation regarding our project..did some research and discussed e outline for our project..though doing e project was rather sian,having her as my group member makes it rather fun..sometimes like having casual talks with her..haha..

Just couldnt believe my fren ch is sooooo lucky~!

On thurs me,ah man and ch were intending to go back to sci fac from e arts fac..ah man suggested taking bus 95 but coz ch din have concession so we gave up e idea and waited for e shuttle bus instead..suddenly when ch wanted to look for her phone,she realised her phone was missing! we went back to e central forum to check if she dropped it somewhere but failed to find..called her phone many times but nobody picked up..tried to recall where we went and wat she did to her phone before she lost it but din really have much traces..in e end she jux gave up finding and decided to go back to sci fac..

On e shuttle bus,she asked ah man to send a msg to her phone so tt whoever picked up her phone can call to ah man's phone..ah man suggested to try calling again before msging,this was when ch heard a familiar ringtone at e back seat..when ah man hung up e phone,e ringing stopped..when she called again,e ringing was back~! me and ch tried to squeeze all e way to e back seat and her phone was sitting right in e gap between 2 seats! this was den we realised tt we were miraculously sitting on e same shuttle bus tt we took when we travelled from e opposite dirn to e arts fac!

Out of so many shuttle buses,we actually coincidentally board e same bus..and luckily we din board e bus 95 initially..and e funny thing of all was she normally put her phone to silent mode in sch,but dunno why she forgot today,and was so fortunate tt she forgot~! if not she could nv hear her phone ringing le..lolx!

Yesterday was a short school day..went to vivo with patty to buy e spaggetti top tt she liked when we saw it on wed..and i also spent money on a cardigan..initially there's only a discount when i bought 2 pieces,and i had to pay e original price coz i only want 1..but e salesgirl was very nice to let me pay e discounted price for my piece if i pay in cash! so happy!after tt treated patty to mac's ice-cream cone..and we realised it increased to 70 cents already! wah..like tt i rather go eat my mr bean soya ice-cream which is healthier and nicer,though abit more ex..haha..

Recently love watching a taiwan drama "命中注定我爱你"..it's a really damn nice show! or maybe it's bcoz i jux feel tt e female lead tinks and feels e same way as me, tt's why..sometimes she really reflect wat my heart is feeling deep inside..makes me wanna cry at times..but i dun tink i will be tt lucky to find such a prince charming like e male lead la..or rather to say i shld pray hard tt i can find 1 too(but i dun wan ONS)..lolx..

Haha..when i 1st read e 1st few para,thot it was rather true! but i wasnt creative at all la..hmmm..im an idealist? maybe ba..or rather to say tt i have certain different expectations towards diff things..but of coz i understand tt things dun always go my own way,so as long as it's acceptable to me,im contented enough..

Anw,e past few days life was rather monotonous..and i was lacking of sleep~! ever since last weekend my lack was sleep was accumulating until now..Last sat went out to celebrate jun heng's bdae..after dinner at Fisherman's Wharfs, only 4 of us went to dbl o for some drinks and groovy..haha..and i actually saw my fren caihong while im queueing for e toilet~! i realised i always coincidentally saw some familiar faces in such places..haha..anw,i initially planned to jux go for awhile,in e end stayed until 2 plus and reach home at ard 3..slept at 4 plus and woke up at 9 plus for breakfast..

For my sun and mon night i was busy doing my reports and browsed through my notes for e test on tues..got to work on tues and thurs night and i slept at 1 plus for these 2 days..

YAWNZ~!

Today was a short day in school..only got one 2 hours lecture at 8 in e morning..somehow i felt tt it's rather lame to wake up so early in e morning jux for tt 2 hours..always felt like skipping it but my conscience really bothers me..e worst thing is e lecturer is really boring and keep repeating e same stuff over and over again,making me wonder if i got absorb anything useful from him.. -.-

This morning i was quite surprised with myself tt i could actually wake up on time for school..coz yesterday was a very long day for me..as usual,i started my day at 8,and i got a damn long lab session which lasted for 7 hours starting from 10~! and finally i ended my day with another 2 hour tutorial..by e time i reached home it's about 9pm already..got a mild headache after my lab..maybe it's coz im still not used it ba..or maybe it's coz i inhaled too much chemical smells already?lolx..

Anw,ydae im really really damn sad tt i actually lost my most beloved pencil during lab!! one moment i still saw it around,another moment it disappeared jux like tt~! i searched high and low for it and even stayed back at e lab after i finished my experiments to look for it..but i jux couldnt find it!! URGH..if it's somebody who took it away,i shall learn from sze-put karma on tt person~!

pple might tink tt im crazy to feel depressed over a pencil..but they dun understand how much sentimental value it has..and after all,i used it for more than 6 years and it had accompanied me through all my major exams..it really means alot to me..haiz..forget it..who ask me to be so clumsy and careless!?! =(

My saturday was really packed~!

i woke up at 8 plus in e morning and prepared myself to go to e airport with xuemei to send bihua(aka wa) off..she's gg back to Hong Kong for further studies,and she herself also not sure whether she's gg back for good..it's rather sad to hear tt one of ur frenz who was once close to u is gg overseas for a long period of time..=( anw,after e 2 of us reached e airport,we walked,looked around and rested for an hour while waiting for e others to reach..and together we settled at Breeks Cafe for lunch..and we present our farewell gift for her as well..it's actually a so-called "digital frame"..inside it contains alot of past year and present photos tt we took together..looking back at e past year photos,though we all saw our ugly photos of us in e past,it really means alot and it's so memorable~! and bcoz of this,i was late for my work..i was supposed to reach bukit merah at 145,but i left changi airport at 140..haha..

i agree with xm tt we were sort of lucky to avoid e saddest moment where we really have to part with wa..at least we can stop ourselves from crying,and when we parted,we parted during e happy moments..

Ah wa(e 1 standing in e middle wearing green)~! U muz jiayou for ur studies over there k~! u will be missed~!

xm left together with me..i was thinking if i shld take cab instead of e slower mrt..but due to cost considerations(e ratio of e cost was like 1:20!!) ,i decided to tk e mrt instead..it's ok if e mrt jux worked as per normal,but it's not~! e train's door jux went bonkers out of a sudden at lavender station-e doors cannot be shut properly..an announcement is made to tell us about a few mins delay..but after waiting and waiting,we were told tt e train was out of service~! =.=''' im already quite worried if my boss would be unhappy with me..and such a suay thing happened to me at this moment~! Grrrrr~

after work,my family came to fetch me for dinner..my sis was treating us to seafood at east coast~!Whee~! it's been so long since i last ate chilli crab liaoz..lolx..

Sunday stayed at home to watch e Olympics closing ceremony at night..hmmm..not as grand as e opening ceremony but still quite ok..especially when there's a korean shuai ge which brightens up e whole closing ceremony..lolx..anw,i tink i will miss e days where i really sat down to watch e events,esp swimming and table tennis..during this period of time, olympics was our common topic..and one scene tt left me a really deep impression was when e table tennis team was competing with korea to fight for a place in e finals,everyone on e bus(e bus was packed like sardines at tt time) was starring at e same point-e tv mobile,focusing on watching e match..my 1st time seeing all e pple on e bus watching tv mobile at e same time la..haha..

Congrats to Team Singapore Women's Table Tennis for winning a silver medal at e Olympics 2008~!

Li Jiawei,Wang Yue Gu and Feng Tian Wei won us a medal after 48 years of wait..Tan Howe Liang can finally shift e limelight away from him..lolx..

China was really unbeatable..and their performances were really sensational,esp Wang Yining..so it's not unusual tt Spore was defeated..

Well,a silver is definitely better than none..=)

Anw,e 3 of them did a great job~! Thanks for letting Spore have a moment of glory at e Olympics~! =)

Updates finally~!

School had reopened and my 1st week of school as a year 2 student breezed through juz like tt..lectures were boring as usual, but finally i nv fall alseep in lectures~! wahaha..feel so proud of myself,coz it's really not an easy feat(at least to me) to wake up at 6 plus EVERYDAY and have to stay awake during those hypnotising lectures..well,it's all too early to say ba..time will prove my limits..it's really very sian to have 8 o'clock lessons everyday la! and i was nv punctual for my 1st lesson..haha..

coz it's just e 1st week and all e tutorials and labs have not started yet,we got alot of free time to spare..so during our long breaks or if we end our day early,we would go to diff places to shop and eat..and horribly,i spent abt $100 this week~! felt rather heartpain to spend so much within a week..but it was fun~! and i always came out with excuses juz to make myself better..somehow it was quite useful,or at least it proved to work on me..haha..

Today i went to e dental clinic to scale and polish my teeth..initially i was supposed to be putting on my braces today,but i postponed it coz i wanted to reconsider again..i clarified with e doc juz now about this issue..and mine sounds like a rather complicated case..and it's time for me to make e same decision again..headache headache~!

Yesterday evening went with xm to east coast for ah wa's farewell bbq..after e super long bus journey and our walk to e pit,we managed to reach there at 7 plus..and i finally saw my long-time-no-see frenz-poon,peg,wa,dione~! it's been really ages since i last saw them..anw,caught up with them and updated each other..it's juz like a mini 2B gathering..and our history were brought up once again while chatting and eating..haha..but me,xm and dione left at 10 plus..i was really damn tired..dione was really nice to offer us a ride home so tt we dun hav to travel a long way home by bus..=)

Rewinding e time back to last sun evening,went with my family to Sim Lim area to take my sis's graduation photo at a studio..it's our 1st time taking those kind of formal photos at a studio..really a brand new experience sia..we had to position oureslves according to e way they arranged us and posed as we were told..e torturing part was tt we still had to smile as broad as possible even if our mouth were aching like mad..now i really very pei fu those models and those women in e beauty pageants who can really maintain their smile for long hours..anw,after e phototaking session,went to bugis to meet up with dennes,grace and mike to celebrate me and grace's bdae..we budget ourselves by having mac as dinner,and e 4 of us actually finished up 1 whole cake tt dennes bought! haha..after tt went to watch e mummy movie..not as nice as expected,and e movie was rather short..abit disappointing..

My birthday celebration

I had enjoyed another great weekend~! =P

Last Sat evening went to Cdans at Bukit Batok to celebrate my aunt's 61th birthday..my uncle booked a room at e restaurant over there..previously before Sat her bdae celebration had created some unhappiness..but it's over anw,so not worth talking about it..my family was among e 1st few to reach,and we orientated ourselves around with cousins Sam,James,Jo..we settled down at e table and e very 1st guest tt greeted us was.................(drum rolling....)

A FLY~! =.=

That stupid fly kept buzzing around us while we were chatting..Joel even went to disturb it and hope it suffered from some concussion so tt it stopped buzzing..though he failed,eventually a service crew over there managed to detain it and trap it in a cup for detention..

We continued crapping for a few hours and kept munching non-stop on e peanuts before every1 (finally) arrived..we sang e birthday song together and took photos with my aunt..e main 9 course dishes were served 1 by 1..Food was finally here~!

But e food turned out to be ok only..Sadded..but i love 1 dish which had Scallops wrapped in fried yam..so damn delicious~! despite e average tasting food,i still enjoyed e dinner..kept crapping and laughing non-stop with my cousins! and we had more photo-taking sessions before we left respectively for home...

Sunday met up with my usual sec sch clique to celebrate my birthday~! arranged to meet at 1045 at bugis but i woke up at 1030..lolx..and obviously im e last to reach(i din mean to anw..hee)..but they let me off since im e "zu jue" for e day..haha..

We went to k at Top One ktv..Yipee~!finally got to sing after sooo long~!we sang from 11 plus to 6 and it's quite worth e money...and there's a few lighting effects to choose from..we kept playing with e smoky effect tt we always see at wedding dinners when e bride and groom are walking down e aisle..and e room became very smelly after tt..i was wondering if e smoke would trigger e thermistor(did i say e right device?) and cause us to get drenched in tt room..but luckily no such drama happened..lolx..

Anw,halfway through,they dedicated a birthday song and it's my time to make my wishes and cut my cake~! Picture speaks more than a thousand words..so i shall let e photos explain e situation over there..

Some had to leave earlier coz they had to work or book in e next day..so after eliminating,only left me,wilson,wx and jy and we decided to watch e movie "Money not Enough 2"..surprisingly,i thot e movie was not bad..though some parts were abit exaggerated and lame,and some parts of e humor were not tt funny after all, some of e things tt they reflected about e society were really quite true and real..and it really showed e ugly side of humans when dealing with money..e most touching part was when a mother sacrificed her life to relieve e pain of her own children..i really cried like mad tt time..unexpectedly,i cried more than i laughed..

A big big thanx to my dear clique of buddies for celebrating my birthday~! I really enjoyed my day~!

My last day of work

Time really flies..3 months passed by jux like tt and thursday was already my last day of work! while i was still working tt time,i always look forward to my last day of work and hope tt day would jux come in a blink of an eye,so tt i dun hav to face e same thing again and again..but ironically,i felt kinda sad and abit she bu de on thurs..and wan ting felt e same way too..hmmm..

I have made a great bunch of colleagues cum frenz over there..and i will miss e times where we brainstormed together,always brought and share food in office together,gossip together,laughed out loud together,played free cells together(and e list goes on...)

Im really really glad to know u guys~! all of u made my 3 months stay over there fruitful and happy~! Thanx to all of u!! *Hugs*

Anw,on tt day,we went to e office at e usual time and started to stone and crap to pass time coz we got nothing much to do..during our lunch time,went to Swensens at Holland V as a good farewell lunch..in e end,we left e office at 1215 and went back to e office at 2 plus!haha..an almost 2 hour lunch break..luckily our supervisor din really realised i guess..but when we jux settled down for 5 mins our other colleagues told us we could leave early..and so last but not least we got camwhoring sessions before we finally parted..

Friday i finally got to wake up later than usual..and i went to chinatown in e morning with my mum to buy some stuff..and during evening,went to Far east with joo for shopping~! finally got some time to do some shopping..but to our dismay,we din have enough time to conquer e whole plaza~! e worst thing of all was e belts incident(i dun wish to elaborate more to prevent myself from being reminded again,though it's only a small issue..im jux tt petty..haha)..but i got some consolation when i bought a nice bag for myself after tt..hehe..

I realised joo and i have e same hobby-like to "song yong" each other to spend money! but in e end she spent alot more than me..haha..but i admit i liked e things she bought too! so dun worry about ur damage,joo..lolx..looking forward to our next conquering session next month~!

Haircut + Shopping

Yesterday and today i was busy shopping with my mum and sis..we were looking for suitable clothings to wear for my sis's commencement photos..really walked till my legs were aching..this is kinda my 1st time ever to shop to this extent..coz e photo taking session is drawing near and we couldnt really find a suitable timing in which all of us are free..so it's abit bo bian..

Yesterday went to Marina Square to cut our hair 1st..and unintentionally,tt person cut bangs for me! I dun really like bangs,coz it makes me look more "toot"! and coz my hair was so little,it makes me look very weird..initially i flipped through 1 magazine tt e hairdresser put it in front of me,and i saw 1 haircut with a fringe which is not bad..so i asked her if i could cut my fringe like tt,and she said she would try..in e end....=.=''' at e start after cutting,it looks quite nice to me,but e more i looked e more i tink it looks weird..it makes me look like some kid like tt..=(

I tried my best to make it look as ok as possible..this is one of my many and better attempts..

Anw,after cutting we walked around marina and suntec and i managed to find 1 suitable top myself,and my sis bought some clothes for her to wear at work..coz we were not really tt hungry,so we bought some chicken pie home as dinner..on e bus home,we smelled a strong durian aroma..but miraculously,nobody went up to complain..maybe every1 was too lazy to squeeze their way to e driver..but maybe if there's some1 who really detest durian to e core,i believe he or she will turn e bus upside down..bcoz of this,my craving for durian is back! and i was hoping my dad would buy durians home tt night..and surprisingly,he did! Yippee~! my day was brightened up bcoz of tt! and my craving for durian was satisfied instantaneously..Slurp~!

Initially planned to meet patty today but we din coz both of us were lazy to go out..but i still did anw..my mum managed to buy a top at AMK hub..and i randomly bought a pair of shorts..we din buy alot of things,but we ate alot there,and bought alot of food..but i tink i shld restrict my mouth a little..if not my face will look very round i my sis's graduation photo..haha..

Tml got to work again..but this week is finally my last week of work..but this means school is reopening again..haiz..

Today woke up damn early just for work..kinda rare for me to woke up at 6 plus in e morning..all thanx to my alarm clock which i forgot to adjust e correct timing to 7 plus..scared tt i will fall back to sleep,i had to drag myself up to stop myself from falling asleep again..for almost e whole bus journey to work i was sleeping and nearly forgot to get down e bus..and for e 1st time,i was e 1st to reach e office,when usually it's e opposite..

E climax of e day was some1 whom i dunno who ordered a chocolate cheesecake for every1 in e office! Upon seeing my all time fav made my "sian" mood go away! e oreo base with chocolate cheese on top and plain cheese in between them was simply marvellous! Yummy Yummy Yummy~! Cheesecakes just makes my day~!

Eunice left at 12,so i got 1 less person to chat with while working..but luckily there was work to do..so time passed rather quickly..and we knock off at abt 3 plus..

On my way home saw this really unique leaf which is of e shape of a heart..cool! but i only managed to take a quick snap of it coz pple who walked ard just glared at me like im some kind of nuts who is so bo liao to take a picture of a leaf..

Yesterday after work went to suntec with xm to have sakae buffet..it's unexpectedly cheaper than we thot..but e standard of e food also dropped alot..it doesnt taste as nice as we ate in e past,especially e sushi..e sashimi taste ok,but tt layer of salmon was very thin..comparing it to e ones i ate at other jap restaurants,e ratio was almost 3:1..and e soft shell crab was hmmm(u noe wat i mean)..but luckily e udon and e fried food were quite nice,though e size of everything shrink quite alot..and i always love their yam mochi ice-cream! hehe..though abit disappointed with e standard of e food,it still manage to satisfy my craving for sushi..and we were really bloated to e extent e 2 of us looked like 2 pregnant women walking lorz..

Yawnz..starting to feel sleepy already..maybe shall chiong 1 more episode of my drama b4 my sweet dreams..=)

Frustrations!

Looks like im gg to say e same thing again-it's been a really long time since i last update my blog..

Working lifestyle is rather monotonous but hectic..out of 1 whole week,5 weekdays were preoccupied by work..except for fridays,everyday after work e only thing tt u wanna do is to go home and rest coz u will be too tired to enjoy urself..and e fact tt u have to work e next day makes it even more sian to e core..looks like im still not used to working life..

i am only able to meet up with my frenz on e weekends..it's barely 2 and a half days which i think isnt enough at all..and sometimes i will have to strike a balance between family and frenz..while weekdays seem to drag like years,weekends just zoom past in a blink of an eye..now i really cherish my Saturdays and Sundays..

i realised tt holding 2 jobs isnt an easy task..for some days i will have to rush from 1 place to another without having e time to have a proper dinner..1 thing to console myself is tt i can be on a diet..haha..anw,it really tire me out initially..work till late at night and wake up early in e morning is not an easy feat for me..but i tink i got used to it now..

e worst thing of all about office jobs is tt i will get fat day by day! not talking about any weight gain,my stubborn bulging tummy is enough to drive me nuts~!well,maybe it's kinda my fault due to lack of self-control over food..but sitting down for long hours everyday WILL eventually leads to tt..oh crap! it's time i need to find some time to do some exercise..=(

but e optimism is tt im able to meet some nice pple and make new frenz..and e best thing of all is tt i can see money rolling in! =P

Sorry for all e complaints and frustrations tt i have in mind..i just need some space to vent out all of them..

Anw,last weekend i was out celebrating e 20th birthday for e s20 july babies,and catching up with a few of my old time frenz..it's 1 of e few recent weekends tt i really managed to enjoy myself! had a really good time laughing till my whole mouth was aching,and i was given some advice to ponder about..

A rare afternn entry..

Finally i have a break during weekdays..dun have to work today coz our supervisor said we got nothing to do for e moment so she gave us 1 off day..planned to pack my cupboard today but suddenly felt like slacking in front of e com now..so here i am blogging at such a timing which is rather rare..

This morning managed to crawl up to watch euro germany vs turkey,all thanx to e preview channel..and im so excited tt Germany got into e finals! it's quite a tough battle between them,and luckily turkey's miraculous wonders did not work on them this time..haha..and i finally got to see Lukas Poldoski on e pitch again! how i wish he comes to BPL,especially to liverpool..hahaha..anw,hope spain will defeat russia tml morning..and e finals will be so damn exciting! Anticipating~!

Yesterday while i was clearing unwanted documents in my com,i came across and read through e blog entries tt i typed years ago..just realised tt my english back then was rather horrible,with alot of broken english here and there..though my english now still isnt very good,im sure it's alot better..haha..anw,while i was reading through,alot of memories just flashed back,and i felt myself smiling while reading..just feel tt life in e past was really innocent but happy and contented..life is still quite good for me now,but it becomes more complicated and sophisticated..it's not totally a bad thing to hold back to e past,but we shouldn be gripping too tightly to e extent tt we are unable to move on..we should always look ahead,not look back..=)

Sometimes im wondering why life is so unfair to me...there are alot of things tt i wished for but only 1 in a hundred comes true..but recently i just came to realise tt it's not tt im not given enough opportunities,it's bcoz i destroyed them with my own hands..=S

Another wisdom tooth of mine was extracted again! this time it was at e bottom right side of my teeth..and this time it was not surgery but really pure extraction! xm sounded as extracting wisdom tooth is my hobby..CHOY! and u will be e next ok...hahaha...

Took half day off and went home straight during lunch time..my mum cooked a big plate of fried noodles with my fav sunny side up for me..wanna fed myself full enough to skip dinner coz i suppose i couldn eat much after e extraction..after tt we drove to e clinic at 2 plus..and after all e waiting and stuff,finally it was extracted and got my hole stitched within 10 mins..e whole procedere was rather scary actually..haha..and i was rather uncomfortable with e pain sia..=(

Obviously today i din step out of my house at all..my face was swollen like mad~! cause my face to look so unproportional,like kena punched like tt..boo! and e menu for my meals today was really monotonous-porridge and bread! but luckily my mum is a good cook..my porridege was delicious..wahaha..

Recently I was struggling to make a decision on whether or not to put on braces..my case is quite diff from those common ones and is kinda complicated..my whole lower jaw was crooked coz of family inheritance and wrong chewing method since small..e dentist still dare to comment in front of me tt i looked ugly with this crooked jaw and my sis was lucky not to have e same problem as me,when im already feeling sad enough!

Ok..i admit all of tt but u dun hav to say straight in my face right..it's like rubbing salt to my wound..=(

Anw,i really felt like putting on braces..but it will definitely cost a bomb..initially i decided to put on,but i hesitated again..not only bcoz of e cost,it's also bcoz im afraid of e pain im gg to suffer for e next few years..urgh! So frustrating!

Im not sure if im thinking too much..but if it's not,maybe i shan't be cruel to u anymore..

Bintan Trip

Finally gt e time to really sit down and blog again..it's really not easy maintaining a blog if u dun hav e luxury of time to do so..haha..and i believe this blog will be kinda long..hope any1 reading this will not fell asleep!

Yesterday went out with ex colleagues-dennes,mike,grace and sam for steamboat at bugis..we just realised tt bu zhi bu jue we had already left e company for more than a year..and to thot of being able to meet up once in awhile to catch up and talk crap,it's really a wonderful feeling..luckily my diarrheoa stopped a few mins before our steamboat,if not i tink i can really sit there and smell e aroma only..haha..mike really shared alot of interesting facts and questions for us to think abt..maybe bcoz he's e oldest among us,so he's more able to share his experiences with us..and dennes bought snacks from japan for each of us..im so envious tt he's able to go japan FOC~! when will it be my turn to go sia...i wanna go hk and taiwan!

The reason why this entry is long bcoz im gg to update about my bintan trip! it was so fun! it's rather diff between gg on a hol with family and frenz..this is e 1st time im gg with frenz,and it's a totally diff experience..there's 6 of us-me,xuemei,jieying,weixiang,shenglong and weiming(xm's bf)..initially jing was going too,but in e end she got something on last min so she decided not to go..this incident was rather complicated,but it's over anw..coz it's been a week after e trip,i shall try to briefly recall wat we did there..

First Day:

After abt an hour's boat ride and 10 mins bus ride we finally reached our resort hotel..first day was just orientation and cam-whoring..coz it's raining and and so we din really get to do alot of things on e 1st day,so we thot of booking a mahjong set to play in our hotel for e night..it sounds rather crazy to play mahjong overseas,but yea,we actually did tt..haha..luckily e rain stopped in e early evening,and we booked a cab to pasar oleh oleh for dinner..surprisingly,e place was not crowded at all,instead there's so little pple..we walked ard to take our own photos b4 we settled down for dinner..was quite anticipated about e dinner but i ended up disappointed..and we hang restlessly ard and bought keropoks at mama's shop while waiting for e cab to fetch us back to e resort..actually we realised tt e pple over there were rather friendly..they were kind to ask us if we were waiting for shuttle bus coz it was leaving e place soon,and 1 taxi driver offered to drive us back to our resort earlier..i suppose it's hard to find these kind of pple nowadays..

Throughout e whole night,me,wx,jy and sl started playing mahjong until 5 plus..and tt tww was e only 1 who won e most money..e rest of us lost almost all our chips sia..Sadded..wanted to catch e sunrise and hav early breakfast but in e end e plan failed obviously..lolx..

Second Day:

We woke up and had our buffet breakfast at abt 10 plus..e activities tt we planned e day before was destroyed bcoz it was raining AGAIN~! Damn it man..we gt no choice but to wait for rain to stop while we camped at e hotel..luckily e rain became smaller and we decided to go swimming..i tink i did alot of funny stunts trying to stay myself afloat coz i CANNOT SWIM..super embarrassing can~! So happy when e rain finally stopped! we quickly headed to e beach to kayak and played banana boat..kayaking just reminded myself of e good old days during my sec 2 camp..e sea water over there was really clear! we could see what's underneath e water,though there's not much to see..sl said he saw jellyfishes,but i din see it..=( we kayaked to a very far end of e beach and saw really beautiful rocks..i wanted to touch e rocks and in e end we went round and round e rocks b4 i finally touched it! though quite funny but gt a sense of accomplishment..behind me tww was damn tired trying to control e directions..haha..felt rather apologetic actually..

e climax was e banana boat! e 6 of us gt to split up into 2 grps of 3..so me,xm and wm were on e 1st boat..it was so damn cool and fun~! coz i was e nearest to e boat,all e water splashed by e speedboat in front and its motor smell i was e 1 kena e most..wanted to scream but everytime i tried to open my mouth all e water just entered into my mouth,and it's so salty! and i couldn open my eyes properly coz e water kept splashing onto my face..in e end xm said my scream sounded abit funny and qi1 liang2,coz i cant even scream properly! we really hang on tightly coz we really felt like we were gg to be thrown out of e boat anytime! it's quite scary(to some1 who dunno how to swim like me) but shiok! by e time it's already evening and we went back to our hotel to bathe and have our dinner at e Kelong..

Third Day:

me,jy and xm intended to watch sunrise at e beach but after waiting and waiting we only managed to see e sky getting brighter but there's no sign of sun! disappointed,we headed back to our hotel and slept until 10 plus for our breakfast..before we left for our ferry in e late afternn,we walked around e whole beach and had more camwhoring sessions..at around 7 plus,we reached back to S'pore..

Omg..realised it's been quite a long time since i last updated..ever since after my trip back from genting,i din really have much chance to blog..got quite alot of things to update actually,but i believe my pea brain would have forgotten most of them..so i shall just try and recall e rest of them..

anw,talking abt e genting trip,it's really fun! it's just tt for tt past few days it rained for quite a while..so i din get e chance to thoroughly enjoy e rides..wat a waste..though i had been there many times,i din get tired of tt place..bcoz i just love e excitement tt e rides gave me,and i still had not conquered all e rides yet..and of coz im still waiting for myself to turn 21 so tt i can enter e casino openly..still rmb tt 1 and only time when i tried to sneak into e casino but in e end kena stopped and checked by e guards..super paiseh can..

e photos were not yet uploaded into my com,so i cant post it on my blog now..maybe if i gt e time to upload,most prob i will be uploading on facebook..

And i tink i gained weight again after this trip..kinda my 1st time eating 5 meals in a day! and we bought back so many local food back..best(or is it worst?) thing of all is all of them were my favs! great..now i got to really tink hard on how to shed weight before e coming friday..

Wednesday was my 1st day of work..so happy i got a job! all thanx to my dearest eunice..now i am working with her,her uni fren wanting and wanting's fren,jing jing..glad tt we get along..anw,i finally get some income soon..yipee! i can go shop for more things during GSS le! =P

Today was my mum's birthday..e usual 3 of us-me,my mum and sis went to suntec to shop after breakfast..my sis stocked up her wardrobe with formal clothings to prepare herself for her work at SGH next week..i paid for 1 set of clothes as a gift for her 1st perm job ever since she graduated..and my sis and i shared e bills for our dinner at Spageddies at marina square as a mini celebration for my mum..their crayfish spagetti was simply marvellous!

Finally waited till this day! Later in e evening im gg to Genting for e weekends..though it's just somewhere tt i went a million times,at least i still manage to getaway..im so attracted to e weather there! S'pore is just too hot for me to stay around..thinking of drinking coffee bean's ice mocha at tt kind of weather..shiok!

Yesterday was my 1st day of work at e tuition center..not too bad..at least it's quite an interesting job..got to mark e students' assignments over there,and sometimes i'll just giggle to myself when i saw funny answers(ok..i know i sound a bit bad,but believe me, im not e only 1 there who did tt..haha)..anw it's still a fun job,got to come in contact with e diff kinds of kids over there..some were really quiet,some were super atrocious..=)

Champions league winner went to man Utd! abit disappointing..coz i hope chelsea would win instead..thot chelsea could have won when tt christiano ronaldo missed e penalty..oh well,soccer is just tt dramatic,but tt is wat makes soccer interesting to watch! i believe tt mr "Den der Sar" must be gloating now..

And those who watched American Idol..are u happy tt David Cook won instead of David Archuleta? i wasnt tt crazy abt AI,but my sis did..and she was so excited tt Cook won..1 thing in common was tt both of us tink David Cook is handsome! but i tink Archuleta's voice is nicer..i esp love his 2nd song "In this moment" alot! if i manage to find it on imeem,i'll definitely intro it to every1..haha..

Shocked but happy

Wanted to blog since dunno when but just a little bit too lazy until today..stayed at home e whole day rotting,watching some DVD to pass time and packing clothes for friday's trip..today's weather was damn unbearable,even a slighest action could make me perspire like hell..but luckily i dun have to go out today,gg out at this kind of weather was utterly crazy..

Yesterday i went to 3 places consecutively for interviews in 1 day..sounds rather mad..but 2 of them were just agencies,so e interviews were a breeze..1 of my agents told me she got a job near Tg Pagar on hand and she would help me fight for tt place..if it's really successful den i can save on my transport fees again..heez..e last interview was a part time job at a tuition centre at Bt Merah,and i managed to get tt job~! im starting work tml..though e pay not very high,at least i still have some income..=)

For e past few days i wasnt really at home almost everyday..last thurs went to Tampines mall with eng soon for movie and fri met up with grace and wee kwang to help grace chose a camera..wee kwang's gf came along too..it's a little weird initially,but after some time we managed to talk a little with one another,so it's not tt bad..

Sat went to e Southern ridge with my mum,sis and bro..felt a little bit like trekking with all e ups and downhills..after e whole trail,though e weather was rather hot,i still felt so refresh..maybe it's bcoz i have not exercise for sooo long..but after tt we walked all e way to depot lane for Botak Jones..erm,i guessed e fats tt we burnt previously were "recoup" on tt day itself..haha..and on mon our whole family went to cycle at east coast..i just love cycling~! but it wasnt a good day for cycling on tt day coz it's so crowded on a public holiday..

Recently i was quite shocked by e news tt xm told me-yuefeng and peg are together now! still kinda remember in e past we always made fun of e 2 of them,and they said it's impossible tt they would be together coz they were cousins..but looks like e ending to this story is e opposite..after walking such a big round den they realised tt their mr/ms right is just beside them..but it's late than never..just like some1 had said to me: no one can escape from fate..im not sure if it's really true,but after so many incidents tt happened around me,i become more and more believed in tt..

Anw,i really felt happy for e both of them..Best wishes to e both of them~!

Earthquake

Today went out shopping with my mum and sis..my sis wanted to start buying some formal clothing for herself coz she's starting work next month..initially planned to leave home in e morning but e weather was damn bad..had a heavy downpour throughout e whole morning..we only managed to leave home in e early afternn..went to Toa Payoh coz my sis wanted to return some library books(it's really been such a long time since i stepped into a library! e feeling was rather remote..haha)..im rather surprised tt there were nice clothes selling over there..saw a 1 piece which was really nice,but i din bought it in e end..abit regret now..urgh! but my sis managed to buy something though..

After tt we went to Mediacorp coz my sis won some lucky draw thingy and had to go there personally to collect..my 1st and prob my last time stepping there..sadded tt we din managed to saw some big shots(esp Nat Ho~!),but we still saw 2-"Sergeant Dollah" and Joakim Gomez(he's quite shuai in real person worz)..so shld be consider not bad le la..haha..den we went straight to vivo to walk around and look for suitable clothes for my sis to wear for her grad night..but in e end im e 1 who bought something instead..hahaha..

Mon i made some cheesecake for my mum as a belated Mother's Day cake..haha..it's been quite some time since i made this plain cheesecake le..nearly forgot how to do..but luckily i still managed to succeed and my mum praised tt it's nice! wahaha..=P

Recently 2 disasters had happened almost simultaneously in diff countries..e 1st one was e cyclone tt hit Myammar really badly,causing alot of pple to die and lost their homes..till now i still dun understand why e Myammar officials rejected foreign help initially..if they had accept help asap,maybe e death toll and e pple who suffered from cold and hunger would not be as bad as now..

the more current 1 was e 7.9 earthquake tt hit China sichuan,causing alot of buiding,schools and hospital to collapse and many pple,esp students,to be buried alive (Luckily e earthquake didnt hit Beijing..my dad is currently working there..im so glad my dad is safe and sound!)..till now still gt alot of them still buried and missing,and e death toll had already hit more than 10 000..after reading e news and saw those pictures abt e situation there,i really felt sympathetic for them..thinking of e young kids being painfully yet helplessly buried under e hill of debris,it seems like i feel e same pain too..and e pain felt by their parents,it would be unbearable too..today was raining very heavily,maybe it's just like wat e newspaper had said-e heaven is crying..

Suddenly felt tt life is really fragile..in a split second ur life may be lost just like tt w/o any warning..this earthquake just took so many lives at a time,even those innocent kids who still have a long path and bright future ahead..so pple,pls treasure your precious life,and cherish e pple around u..don't take your life for granted..life is just tt unpredictable..u may nv know what might happen in e next second..there are no 'what if(s)' in reality,time is never reversible..dun realise only when u regret..maybe it will be too late..

Happy Mother's Day to all e mums out there~!

Today is Mother's Day..nv really go out and celebrate..intended to,but my sis said tt almost every restaurant shld be fully reserved,so e plan was off..ydae thot of buying a cake home but by e time i wanted to buy e shops were already closed..nevertheless my mum still cooked alot of nice and delicious food for us today..really touched sia..so grateful to have such a good mum..i will always love u mum~! =)

Yesterday went to wx's house with jing,sd and sl to play mahjong..jing insisted to cook tang yuan for us..but she left at 5 plus and left e 4 of us to continue playing until 10 plus..in e end i lost 9 bucks sia..but im considered quite lucky already,managed to minimize e loss during e last few games,if not i could have lost even further..haha..

Friday went to marina square to celebrate jing's bdae..coz almost every restaurant was full,in e end we split up just to find a restaurant with less pple and we finally settled at Billy Bombers..coz it's a big grp of us,i tink in e whole restaurant our table was e most noisy..even when we took a group photo almost everyone in e restaurant were looking at us..lolx..

After dinner intended to catch a movie but almost every movie started at midnight..so walked aimlessly all e way to clarke quay until we saw eski bar..since all of us nv went before so decided to went in for a drink..coincidentally some1 from e next table was also celebrating her bdae with a cake..and we did e same too..bought a small tiramisu cake from tcc next door and a group of "choir" from e bar sang e bdae song together with us..haha..she was very touched and happy though..and so we stayed until 1 plus before we split up to share a cab home..

I always thot u are still whom i used to know..but in e end i realised im wrong..Time can really change alot of things,including relationships and a person's character..Maybe it's a part of growing up..Maybe as time goes by there are more and more secrets behind tt u dun wish anybody to know..e only way to protect yourself is to make ur mask looks stronger in front of pple..

Or maybe i dun even know u well in e 1st place..

Yeahhh~! My exams are finally officially over~! =D

Today had my last paper in e morning..as usual,e paper was rather tough..and i faced e same problem again- me and e qns starring at each other blankly..

But still,i felt a huge,huge relief more than anything else after e paper..tt previous 2 weeks was really a torture can~! plus e weather was so damn HOT,it made it even more undesirable to study..im not sure if it's bcoz of e weather or e stress or both tt caused me to lose my temper so easily for tt 2 weeks,but just wanna apologise to anyone if i ever lost my temper out of no reason..tt 2 weeks were really horrendous for me,got to face with such tremendous stress and at e same time struggle to get out of depression if i felt i done badly for tt paper..im just so glad and happy tt i managed to pull through..

Oh ya..and also wanna thank those who encouraged me all e way during e exams..really appreciate it~!

Finally i can anticipate for e post exam activities to come..so excited~! and suddenly i got sooo many things to do on my mind now..but i can have e luxury of time to complete them now..haha..

And im gg to enjoy for e next few days before i go and find a job..heez..

It feels so good to have holidays~! =P

Whew~! I can finally take a break after such an intense exam week..didnt really felt tt today is a saturday..coz today was my fourth paper, and my next, which is also my last paper is on thurs..so i can curently slack for 1 or 2 days..

Felt damn relieved when today's paper finally ended,coz this module was really tough and frustrating..most of my time during e reading week was spent on this module alone,causing me to neglect other mods..one of them was e mod for yesterday's paper..really couldn finish reading on time coz i only started studying e day before (even when i only spent one hour sleeping and other times i was studying)..

Initially wanted to wake up today at 3am to continue studying for today's paper..maybe bcoz im deprived of sleep e night before,in e end i woke up at 6 plus~! and i still gt so many readings to complete before my paper at 9am..i was so panic and nearly brokedown at tt point of time..but still managed to brace myself and went to glance through them quickly..anw,i already tried my very best for this paper..whether i will do well or not,it's really up to fate to decide already..

This sem was a really stressed sem for me..never really felt tt stressed before..e stress level was so high tt i nearly broke down quite a few times..though my exams were not yet over,at least now i felt so much better..

At least i am able to breathe more smoothly now..=)

I shall now jiayou for my last paper..and in no time my exams will be over~!

For e last few days kept pia-ing all my webcasts and really tried to study..but just felt that time is not enough for me..oh well..e only way now is to burn midnight oil before e paper..just like wat im probably gg to do tonight i guess..tml is my 1st paper and is not an open book exam..got to squeezeeeee all e info in my mini brain~! Ha..good luck to myself man..

For e next 2 weeks i guess i would have to neglect my blog le..dun tink i even have e time to switch on e com unnecessarily..got to really prepare and brace myself for e exams..=)

Hope time can just zoom past and my exams will be over in no time~! My post-exam activities are just too tempting for me~!

Zhen fa steamboat

Yesterday went with xm to zhen fa steamboat to eat..it's currently at novena now (in case nobody knows)..Before eating wanted to walk around that area coz we knew there are alot of shopping centres around-square 2,novena sq etc..in e end,to our much much disappointment,there's nothing much to shop there..it's super boring over there can~! Only alot of restaurants and education centres around..there's not even 1 arcade around when we tried to look for 1~! we were starting to conclude if e pple living in e north area like to eat and enrich themselves..

Anw,we walked to zhen fa and was having high expectations that it's similar to that at marina south..in e end we only saw pots of soups under e fire without any bbq pan around..thot we were gg to be disappointed again..but to our surprise,it's actually quite different..it becomes abit like an international buffet,with a station helping pple to cook e meat and seafood,a bbq pit where e service crew was grilling satay,and another section with desserts..and we do not nd to wash e crab by ourselves anymore~! haha..so it's not tt bad after all..though e price escalated(obviously),we still ate to our hearts' content,until we were really bloated to e brim..and had to drag our big belly back home..=P

Today was rather a boring day..went to school at 12 plus for cosmetic module but in e end i realised i brought e wrong book..was talking to patty during e whole lec..and we sat down and studied for awhile before we headed for home..haiz..in e end i slacked at home again..

Today is a boring Saturday..This morning woke up at abt 7 plus to finish up my assignment due today..managed to finish at ard 10 plus am..though i really got not much confidence in my answers, i was still quite relieved i managed to fill up all the blanks..at e last min before e assignment was due i was told i forgot to fill in some details..but in e end i ran out of time to fill them in..too bad..

din really went out today except having dinner outside before going to our relative's house to visit my grandma..never saw my grandma for a few weeks and realised she seemed to become more and more skinny..quite heart pain to see her like tt,especially when i compared her past and present..haiz..there's a chin saying "sui4 yue4 bu4 rao2 ren2"..indeed this is what every human being have to go through..

Yesterday after our lab session went to Tanjong Pagar with patty for haircut..initially quite excited abt e outcome of our hair after cutting..in e end i only managed to cut my fringe and layered my hair..while patty cut a bob hair, which she disliked after cutting..haha..after cutting went to ICA building to hand up my form for my passport application..initially thot im gg bintan during e Vesak Day hols, in e end it was postponed..but it's still better than not gg at all..heez..anw,after tt we went bugis street to walk 1 round before travelling back to school for our lecture..

Felt rather bored and restless today..initially planned to go cut hair with patty after out tutorial today,but she was sick since yesterday..so in e end e plan was postponed..went to school for my tutorial for 1 of my modules which lasted only an hour..after tt went to lib alone to finish up e my tutorial answers tt i wrote bits and pieces here and there coz e tutor went thru rather fast..den went home to slack after tt..

Yesterday after my tutorial went to do some survey..i was paid $7 at e end of e survey..though e sum of money was rather small,it's better than nothing..felt rather happy tt i earn some $$ effortlessly..haha..but after tt when xm called me and told me tt tioman resort was fully booked,and we might have to either change our destination or cancel our trip tt we planned a few weeks ago,my mood totally changed..now we had changed our destination to bintan..praying hard tt there's still resorts available..if not it's gg to be another disappointment again..

This morning woke up to watch e champoin league match between liverpool and arsenal..and liverpool won~! Wheee...so so happy..e whole match was rather dramatic actually..my whole heart was beating rather fast throughout e whole match,and esp when i thot they were gonna lost after arsenal scored e 2nd goal..but fortunately the penalty given became a turning point for them..heez..alot of pple were puzzled on why im so obsessed with soccer,esp bcoz im a female..well,actually i also dun really know myself..juz started to love watching soccer all of a sudden..but it's a really a great sport to watch~! maybe 1 day u all shld try it..

Sometimes i rather hate myself..i hate it when i couldnt express my feelings well..i wanted to shout it out..but i just dunno how to do it..i hate it when i need to hide my feelings..but if it's e only way to salvage any situation,maybe i will just swallow it down and let it go.. is this life?or is it just me?i really cannot figure it out anymore..and im getting tired of this..

Today got another test again..super sianz..studied till 2am yesterday and woke up 6 in e morning to pia again..really studied till i puked..it was so damn tough..i hope i can at least pass today's paper..if i really fail,well..i tink there's nothing much i can do right..what's done cannot be undone..somemore i tried my best already..

Maybe it's because i had used my sat's time gg out with my frenz instead of studying at home..heez..anw even if i din step out of my house,i suppose i would be doing anything else except studying..Sat was really filled with activities..went out with my usual gang, from k-boxing,pool,movies,makan,drinking at a bar at Holland V to playing at jh's house..it's really my 1st time doing so much things in a day..and it goes e same to e way i spent my money in a day(except shopping..lolx)..but i really enjoyed tt day~! had so much fun till i nearly forgot i got a test 2 days later..oops..

Finally got some time to take a break..schedule was quite hectic for e past few days..kept having to burn midnight oil for my report,project and to study for my test for today..now causing my pimples to pop out 1 by 1..=S

Today's test was rather horrid..somemore i had to bear with my stomachache from the beginning of e paper to e end..e paper was 1 hr long,but it seemed like 10 hour long~! quite suay to have a stomach upset during e test..e test paper was so damn tough,and whenever i felt stressed my stomachache worsened..at some points of time, was struggling whether to just give up and burst to e toilet or just die die wait till e test finished..in e end i still chose e latter..lolx..

It's finally another public hol~! waited for this public hol until my neck became long le..i can at last officially slack for e whole day,though i know i shouldn be..coz i got so much work to do again..and i got a test on thurs..sianzz..=.=

Last wed after my lecture went to town with patty..went to PS 1st coz patty wanted to go e Arts & Crafts shop there,coz she wanted to make birthday card for her bf's 21st birthday..she wanted to get ideas from there..we walked rounds and rounds trying to gather more ideas,in e end we stayed in e shop for abt an hour..

Next went to far east..she wanted to look for dress to attend a social night with her bf..e 1st shop tt we entered really disgust us..e retail assistant kept giving pat dresses to try,but when we said we consider 1st,her face changed from smiley face to a damn black face,even when we apologised..we understand tt if we were her,we would not be happy also,but not to e extent of giving a straight black face which was so damn obvious right..wat an attitude..

Anw,both of us spent alot of money this time..=( dunno why this time saw alot of pretty clothes~! sometimes when i went there's not even a piece of nice ones..this time all e nice clothes came in a batch~! Initially i only had e intention to look for shorts,in e end i bought more tops instead..haha..pat spent even more coz of her dress she bought,and tt's why she had to give up e idea of buying 1 top which she really like,which she regretted not buying e next day..bcoz she had to teach tuition in e evening so we had to leave without finish shopping..

Yesterday in between our long break,went to IMM to Face Shop to buy things again..pat spent too..lolx..this week spent until so xiong..looks like i will have to save money for e next few weeks le,though i tink it's highly impossible..

This morning went to Fong Seng prata shop to have breakfast..im e driver for today..my 1st time drove my father's car..abit scary lorz..my dad sat beside me to guide me along..but he always said i drove too fast..Oops..Anw,today my dad is going to phuket for holiday..*envy* so after we reached home for awhile,my dad den head to e airport after tt..haiz..xm wanted to plan to go tioman during may,but e plan failed coz some of them cannot make it..disappointing man..=S

Im here to clean my cobwebs around my blog..haha..realised tt i had not been updating for a long time..quite busy recently..got lots of reports to rush,esp last week..now my project is eating up my time also..sianz to e core sia..actually kinda forgot wat happened last week..i would try my best to recall..=)

Last fri went to Singapore flyer with my sis and her frenz...my 1st time on e Singapore Flyer~! Thanx to NUS,i got to ride at a lower price than e public..hahaha..but e condition for me is i got to skip 1 lecture in order to ride e SF..and obviously i did..*oops..because it was during e evening,we got to see e night view of almost e whole of Singapore when we got to e top..it's really magnificient~! we were actually quite lucky tt it's not raining on tt day..but i dunno why we din really get to see Malaysia and Indonesia like wat others said..it's quite a blur,only managed to see some small islands here and there..though e ride was abt 35 minutes,it didnt seem like tt long when im in e capsule..felt really happy to be able to ride on e SF for e 1st time,but if i got to ride e 2nd time having to pay e public price,i might consider 1st..haha..

e next day went to NUS with my mum and sis for health screeening..felt abit nervous when my blood was drawn,and in e end both me and my mum kena blue black..haha..after tt went to fong seng to eat prata..all of us agreed tt it's quite delicious..but dunno is it bcoz we had fast for more than 8 hrs ydae,tt's y it's delicious coz we were too hungry..lolx..rushed to meet xm and sl to go wx's hse played mahjong..but we played for awhile only coz sl nd to attend wedding dinner..in e end we left even before we warmed e seat..and i cant recoup back my loss! went to far east with xm to shop..she was rather suay to kena e last piece for every piece of clothing she wanted..but in e end she still bought some of them..

e most important news was tt i passed my driving test~! haha..tt day felt super nervous coz its raining big time..and i din really xperience driving in such a bad weather..somehow i got a bad feeling abt my test..and my tester told me off when i drove too close to a car..i thot i failed..in e end i didnt~! Woo hoo~! My heart was so relieved when he told me i passed! but coz i nd to rush for my tutorial,no choice got to take a cab down..and it just cost me 10 bucks just for 1 trip! super heartache can..and tt driver kept telling me his long-time-ago stories abt how he passed his driving and kept asking me weird qns..and he kept turning his head back while driving..scared e hell out of me..

Today stayed at home e whole day trying to do my project..abit sian..i suppose it's e same for tml le..=/ and i haven watch my webcasts for e lectures i skipped..my work is indeed piling up..

Today is a special day~!

it's not any kind of a special occasion..but this date only falls once every 4 years..once today is over,will have to wait till 2012 before 29th feb comes again..actually i dunno whether to pity those whose birthday falls on this day or to feel special for them..it feels rather sad to be able to celebrate their birthday only once every 4 years..but on e other hand,these pple will tend to cherish their birthday more than anybody else..and their birthdays will be even more meaningful..while some thot tt organising a birthday celebration is an annual routine,probably they dun tink so when their bithdays dun come easy..haha..

Wanted to do something special on this day,but sadly got no activities today..only went for my driving lesson today tt's all..today kena a fierce instructor..like almost every section in e circuit he kept lecturing me..my sis who kena him before also felt e same way..in e end i kept making mistakes becoz i was too nervous..haha..

And today went past just like that..=(

Anw,my bro finally bought a PSP 2 days ago..it's red in colour..quite rare right..alot of pple on e streets are either carrying a black or a white one..but his is red..cool..coz he said he likes red,so he wanted red..haha..and he used his own money to buy de..felt quite xin tong for him..haha..

Today went for my driving lesson in e late morning..it's been a month since i had my last driving lesson..legs abit sore when e session ended..guessed i had been using too much of my leg's energy trying to control e brakes..haha..

After tt went to west mall to meet xm..quite a long time since i met her..she just came back from taiwan(so envious~!) and brought some stuff back for me..so touched~! we had lunch at subway while we catched up with each other alot,as if we had not seen each other for years..and she kept rattling abt how fun taiwan was..only trying to make me more envious..lolx..i also wanna go taiwan~! i also met ah sze and her bf coincidentally at west mall..she came and pat on my shoulder when i was at subway..quite long nv see her le..talked for a while before she went off with her bf..

Yesterday went to vivo with eng soon to watch e jack neo's show "ah long pte ltd"..e show quite funny actually,but e plot abit poor...haha..no wonder e movie critics kept condemning e show..and somemore we sat at e 1st row..my neck was super stiff after e show finished..quite amazed tt we still nd to sat at e 1st row when i expected e show to have little pple watching coz e show was already shown for 2 weeks plus le..after tt went for dinner at Asian Kitchen,which i tink e food was ok only..e service crew accidentally toppled e cup of tea,causing his pants to drenched with tea..in e end they gave us a 10% discount for e bill..though it's not alot,it's better than nothing..haha..

My sis passed her driving test today~! Congrats to her sia..but i dunno why i felt a huge pressure as a result..my mum said is my psycological thinking..maybe ba..maybe im still not confident enough..maybe im scared i might panick during e test..well..i tink i got other important things on hand to think about 1st before e driving test..

still got so many webcasts to finish...

still haven even start doing my tutorials and lab report yet..

still haven even start revising for my mid-term tests...

Arhhhh~! headache headache headache~! how i wish i can split myself up and finish all e things at 1 go...

Yesterday after our lab went with patty and caihong to hav lunch at Megabites..tried e chicken cutlet which patty had wanted to try since few weeks ago..e serving was rather large and worth e money..but it's so large tt when we ate till we nearly couldnt stand up..and when we travelled to IMM my stomach was rather uncomfortable during e jorney..prob is my full stomach couldnt stand e bumpy ride..haha..only me and patty went to IMM while caihong went home instead..she managed to buy some asessment books for her tuition student,which is our main pupose for gg there..started to cam-whore at e outdoor mini children's playground coz it's our 1st time we noticed there's such a playground there(unable to upload coz i dun hav e photos yet..)..gt both water theme and land theme..e children nowadays are so fortunate lorz~! anw,on our way to e bus stop back to school for our lecture,saw zoe tay and tay ping hui at giant..they seemed to be preparing for shooting..and tay ping hui is so damn handsome and macho in real person k~! but he looked rather arrogant and dao..i suppose if i ever see him casually on e streets i wun dare to appraoch him ba..haha..

After our lec,went home to wait for time to pass before wee kwang came to fetch me and grace to e airport to walk around..i juz realised tt e last time i went to e airport was about 10 years ago~! haha..e airport had changed quite alot..with e additions of many restaurants and shops..after having our dinner there we orientated around T3 and we took skytrains to e other terminals to walk around..we went to their respective viewing malls,hoping to see e runways..but to our disppointment,e views tt we can see was so limited and i din even get to see e runway..i dun see e purpose of it calling itself a "viewing mall"..Disappointing~! To my surprise,we had stayed at e airport for4 hrs~! lolx..in e end wee kwang drove us back home at about 1am plus..

Today was rather a long and tiring day..My timetable for today was like this:

got a 8 o'clock lecture in e morning..

got a tutorial in which e teaching assistant was talking like a bullet train,leaving me and patty
with lots of question marks on our heads..

Doing our super damn tough assignment during our break which left our brains almost half dead..

and finally a 4 hr lab session which was so ma fan and it really got on our nerves most of e times..urghhh~!

Finally got some time of my own which i can really do my own things such as blogging..hehehe..

I just came to blog for awhile while waiting for my notes to pirint my notes..got to sleep le..so tired~!

This weekend im rather busy,which isn't really a good thing coz i din have much time to spend on my tutorials..and it's a really bad thing coz mid term tests are coming really very soon and im not prepared at all~!

This morning went to Joo chiat with family for breakfast..after tt went to parkway to shop in Giant..my dad brought a lot of vouchers back so we bought many appliances to replace e old ones at home,since it's kinda "free" in a sense..lolx..

Yesterday morning went to e health career talk with my sis..din know health careers are so interesting..im actually quite inspired to be a dietitian even before i enter uni..but too bad i cant get into e food science & tech course bcoz i din study bio in jc..Sadded..but ydae i juz realised tt to be eligible to become a real dietitian,i still nd to tk another relavant degree overseas..=(

Looking at my current course of study (chem) now,i really dunno wat i can do when i graduate..but of coz i dun really hav to choose jobs tt are related to what im studying now..actually gg to e health sectors was quite interesting..but i will nd another diploma related to tt particular field..and this means i got to study more..thinking of tt,i seem to hav hesitations already..lolx..

At night went to my aunt's house to have dinner..supposedly to have yu sheng to "lou hei", but coz some of my relatives din intend to show up,tt's why they din bought any yu sheng..Sooo disappointing..coz i love yu sheng~! played ass hole big 2 with my cousins again,but we kept changing rules here and there coz more and more of my cousins were joining us..in e end,a big group of us juz sat on e floor e whole night playing tt..haha..

Friday went out with my ex-colleagues for dinner..was rather surprised to know tt gabriel was back in singapore for a short period of time,and we managed to ask him to join us for dinner..but he got to fly back to australia back this fri..looks like e next time we get to see him again is like gg to be dunno how many months later le..we went ms to eat,and played pool after tt..me and grace din really know how to play,so each of us teamed up with 2 other guys and we just played for e whole night..it's rather fun actually..and i tink our table had e loudest laughter there..hehe..=P took a few photos but i din manage to get it now so im not able to upload..=S

Happy Valentine's Day to all my family and frenz out there~!

This year's Valentine's day was just a normal day to me..e worst part of all was tt we even got a test today and i din do very well..made this day EVEN more depressing..how sad to say tt e test was our V day present this yr..=.=

I skipped my morning lec today to study for my test..went to bought ferrero rocher for my frenz as V day small prezzie before i headed for school..everyone in my cosmetics lec got a show to watch -some1 actually delivered e flowers to a gal who's also in e lec..e lecturer even read out her name on e card together with e flowers~! lolx..So sweet~! But if im tt girl,i tink i would be soooo paiseh la..everyone even cheered for her when she finally had e courage to receive e flowers..

Other than Valentine's day, i also haven wish every1 a Happy New Year~!

This year's new year was quite fun..at least whenever i was at any relatve's house,i wun feel really bored..except tt something is amiss this year..Mahjong~! my hands started to itch even before new year but nobody around me got e time to play..super sadded..and i got a diarrheoa on e 1st and 2nd night of cny..damn sianz lorz..muz have eaten too much during our steamboat reunion dinner and also of cny goodies..

On last sun,my cousins came to my house..cousin esther had lasik surgery last yr and she told me her experience and everthing..im so tempted to go for lasik now~! dun wanna wear glasses or contacts already..quite sick of them..but it's still consider quite ex,though it's already cheaper than last time..hmmm..looks like got to wait for a few more years before i can go for lasik surgery..

Ooo...Chinese new year is coming in 1 day's time..kinda anticipating for tml to come..hehe..but of coz.i can see my school work piling up and up like there's no end..=.= thinking of me having to rush my reports like mad and doing my tut on cny makes me a little dread of cny..wat a delimma here..but i believe everyone feels e same as me now...super sianz can...=S

Im so envy for those who are going overseas during cny~! Most of my frenz are gg either japan or taiwan~! When will it be my turn to go?!? hurr...especially envy those who are gg japan,and they're manying and ah joo..i cant wait for them to come back to tell me hoe beautiful japan is~!

Oops..i din know it's so late now..better sleep now,just to prevent my face from popping pimples due to lack of sleep..lolx..and my dark eye circles~!
